Its a proxy deck just no black lotus or any cards above 150$ i want the best version of this possible i was told to lean into bracket four for this one by a friend

My friend has a deck I'm trying to beat, but I don't want to build something that's just designed to counter him. He plays a Muldrotha deck that's around a high-power 4, and he consistently wins on turn 4 if played perfectly and 5 normally. I want to build a commander that can compete without melting my brain from spell slinging im fed up with spell slinging tbh.
Can’t be Slivers or Ninjas. I talked to my pod, and they're fine with ex-cEDH power levels, just no Demonic Consultation into jace like effects. This is a full pod, by the way.
I've already tried Valgavoth Harrower of Souls, Yuriko, Massacre Girl Known Killer, and Fire Lord Azula.
I don't want to completely counter my friend because that's not fun. I want a strong deck that can also hold its own in other high-power pods.
Right now, I'm considering Poison Atraxa, Voja, Winota, or Najeela. What do y'all think?

I hit the stage where I don’t know what to cut. I’m trying to go for mostly Monks with some wiggle room. I’m hoping to keep it under a $130 budget and reach a higher power level. I’m trying to keep it around $75, but I can go up to $125. The deck will be upgraded later. I’ve been told you all know a lot about synergies.

I’m getting kinda bored of my decks and need something to scratch that itch. I can never find a deck I actually want to come back to. At this point, I honestly don’t even know what I want. I’ve tried Eldrazi, Syr Gwyn, Atraxa, Valgavoth Harrower, Y’shtola Night, Massacre Girl, Known Killer, and Liberty Prime, but none of them stick. I don’t know if it’s just me, but I’m starting to wonder if there’s even a commander I truly like. (Tbh i prefer female commanders honestly)
I want to win, but in different ways — not the same repetitive “make 1000 mana and cast X spell, boom game over” kind of decks. I like high power, but it always ends up feeling the same every game. I want results without repetition, if that makes any sense.
Any commander ideas?
So I’ve played some other fighting games before, but they didn’t last because they looked boring. I’m trying to find some characters to play. I’m looking for off-meta picks — to be fair, I don’t even know the meta in the first place — but I want hard-hitting, simple characters that I can mess around with and have fun playing. I was looking at the cast, and Ramlethal Valentine looked cool and hard-hitting, and Jack-O' Valentine looked really cool too. Any suggestions?
