Casual open world survival crafting

As the title says, I’m searching for a very casual open world survival crafting game, one that focuses mostly on or has very satisfying systems for building and resource collection.

It has to be multiplayer, because me and my friend want to do a fun little play through where one of us never crafts or builds, and the other never collects resources, and we have to work together to progress, with the goal of eventually constructing some giant megastructure. (So ideally it would also have not much locked behind progression) is there such a game?

Also, I’ve heard that sons of the forest on peaceful mode is quite a chill survival crafting game, would that work for this?

The combat system

I’ve been playing the game for ~50 hours now, and I’m coming to realise that I don’t enjoy the loop of the souls lite combat system, how it requires you to be killed quite a lot to learn how to fight enemies - it doesn’t feel fun for me, and just frustrates me.
But I enjoy the rest of the game so much, and even the later stages of the combat loop where I’m powerful and confident against enemies, it’s just the starting loop for every new enemy, boss, and area that gets me.

Because of this, I’m trying to force myself to enjoy this part, or at least gain some insight into why others enjoy it so I can maybe see form that point of view.

So why do you enjoy the combat loop, and what can I do to change my mind?

What is Tiresias referencing when he says ‘on the brink of death’ and ‘draw your final breath’?

I’ve pieced together the rest - song of past romance (sirens) sacrifice of man (Scylla) portrayals of betrayal and a brother’s final stand (mutiny). Therefore, is he talking about a metaphorical death, signifying Odysseus’ complete turn into ‘a monster’ when he decides to sacrifice his men in Thunder Bringer?
