Is Morrowind cool and weird because the team had the freedom to make it weird?

I learned that Cyrodiil was meant to be a strange jungle biome and then was changed to generic fantasy Europe and it’s fucking with my mind!

All Elder Scrolls games and regions have cool, unique, and weird things, but Morrowind is the big standout. This is even more starkly contrasted playing ESO when you can zap from Daggerfall (Tudor England) directly to Necrom (???).

I’ve also been told that Morrowind was kind of a Hail Mary, as Bethesda was at risk of shutting its doors. As such the team had the creative freedom to get weird.

Now that ES is a big franchise maybe they don’t have the freedom to take risks?

Anyways, if you can point me towards an article or video that explains this I’d appreciate it.

Any thiefy guilds out there?

I absolutely adore the Thieves Guild. It’s my favorite thing in any Elder Scrolls game.

I’m looking for a player guild with thieves guild vibes. There’s one that’s literally called Thieves Guild but I think it’s inactive. On PC.

I’m a very casual player here for the vibes.

Sevens Overlay?

Is there a product or DIY project that allows you to put the lines for sevens on top of a regular pitch? That way it would be easily convertible without having to get another product (or mark up an existing pitch with paint).

Lord Borak proxies?

I am greenskins player all the way through, but I can’t ignore *the greatest Blood Bowl player of all time*.

The official sculpt is cool and I like the Ugni proxy, but I’d like to know if anyone can recommend any other ones before I take the plunge.

A coach or ref with Boraks head would be cool too!
