Woke up with sudden ringing

Hello, sorry if this isnt the right place to post this but I woke up this morning with a loud sudden ringing in my right ear and my hearing in that ear feels a bit muffled/“off” compared to my left. It also feels like pressure or a weird “full” sensation inside my head/ear. The ringing comes and goes but the hearing difference has been pretty noticeable since I woke up.

I went to urgent care the same day because I got really worried. The doctor looked inside my ear and said there’s no infection or anything visibly wrong. He thinks it’s probably something like pressure/Eustachian tube issues or allergies and gave me an antihistamine to take for 10 days and told me to come back if it doesn’t improve.

For context, I’ve also been sleeping mostly on my right side for the past few days because my left ear just got pierced and I’ve been trying not to put pressure on it. I also used AirPods while sleeping recently, so I’m not sure if that could’ve contributed.

has anyone else gone through this? Have you made a full recovery? I'm honestly really scared

How do I get over my LO when my real life feels so lonely and dull?

I always see advice saying to focus on yourself and start living for yourself instead of your LO, but the problem is that my LO is the thing keeping me going. The only reason I even want to keep living sometimes is so I can daydream about them. It’s this exhausting cycle where even when I’m out with family or doing something that’s supposed to be enjoyable, I still end up imagining my LO there instead. I basically replace everyone around me with them in my head.

And when I try to stay present and enjoy real life, everything feels so empty and underwhelming that I immediately want to put my headphones back on and disappear into daydreams about them and the life we could’ve had together. I use them as a coping mechanism for my own life, but at the same time, life feels pointless without those fantasies.

How do I stop this? It’s been nearly 5 years and it’s ruining my life in so many ways. :(

Switching departments?

Hey guys, I’ve been working as a cashier for almost a year now, and it’s honestly started taking a toll on me mentally and physically. I’m thinking about switching departments maybe stocking or really anything that doesn’t involve constantly dealing with customers or standing in one spot all day.

Does anyone know what the process is usually like for transferring departments / getting approval? I’d really appreciate any advice or insight. Thanks!

What does this mean??? IT Major AS

I got an email saying my Fall 2026 financial aid could be affected if I don’t submit some required documents. I'm an IT (AS) major and I’ve never had this happen before and I’m kind of confused on what I’m supposed to do. Has anyone else dealt with this?
