Unusual Coloring Ideas

I hope I’m allowed to post this however if not please delete :)

I have recently created a media account revolving around my hobbies, which mainly involves colouring and reading, I want to challenge myself and create a video where I color in a style (eg glitter page, 2 tone only) that you don’t see often

Has anyone got any examples of unusual style coloring pages that they like the look of? I’d love to get opinions from people who actually color on this as I want people with similar hobbies to enjoy my videos

I plan on using my Coco Wyo books and Ohuhu markers, I have both acrylic and alcohol markers so any examples using these types of pens would be amazing

Btw this isn’t self promo as to be honest I’ve just created the account for myself mainly as a place to document my hobbies

Advice for new account

Okay so I bit the bullet and created and Instagram and TikTok account to post my reading and crafting hobbies (left out the gaming after taking your guys advice, I will create a different account for this in the future)

What’s some tips you would recommend for me to grow my channel?

So far:
- I’m posting my post to my story after uploading
- I’m with other creators including leaving comments etc
- I’ve uploaded 2 posts since Friday, one reading and one colouring - I know this should be more however I was away for the weekend

How often should I post? Is there a way for me to search what is trending at the moment if for the niche I am doing?

Any tips at all are very much appreciated

Beginner looking for advice

Hey everyone,

I’m looking to get into creating content, I’m not sure where to even start if I’m honest with you although looking through this sub Reddit has given me some pointers (thank you already!)

I’m not sure if this is the right place to post but essentially I am looking at creating a channel around my hobbies essentially, I’m very crafty (painting, knitting, clay work), love to read and game (PC, deck and switch). I love this kind of content but not sure the if YouTube would be the best platform for this? I’m mainly thinking YouTube shorts

I also would like the account to be faceless but I’m not sure if this would make me at a disadvantage since a lot of the popular accounts I watch aren’t faceless.

Sorry if I’ve not explained well I’m new to this whole thing and any help is much appreciated

Tricky Doors

I just wanted to come and recommend a game that I’ve recently played called Tricky Doors for puzzle lovers like me, specifically types of puzzles like on Professor Layton.

I’d never heard of this game until a couple of days ago on a different sub Reddit, whilst you wouldn’t initially think cozy it gives off dark nostalgic cozy vibes when you’re playing despite only being released a few years ago

It’s completely free on switch and steam deck! Although, you can purchase additional coins for hints but I have seen walkthroughs online

Energy

I completed the demo yesterday, I did really enjoy the gameplay itself and was considering buying the full version, although I’ve got to say my energy goes down way too quick. Can anybody who has purchased the game today let me know if this is just because of a demo or if this is just how fast energy does go down?

Algorithm

Hi everyone,

I’ve had my Etsy store for around a year and a half, I sell digital prints and have made just over 100 sales, although I’m well aware this could have been way more.

I started off uploading prints regularly, at least every other day, but life got in the way and I haven’t uploaded in a good 7 months, still get the odd sale here and there. I really want to start getting into it again, as it’s not just for sales, I actually really enjoyed creating the prints themselves.

Before I get into it again, I just wanted to clear up the algorithm theories below:

- more page visibility on Etsy search when having over 100 listings
- uploading 3+ listings a day will boost your store

These are just a couple of things I have heard from TikTok, I work around 50 hours a week so don’t want to overrun myself trying to get out a certain amount of prints per day but I do want to be consistent.

Honestly, any tips at all when it comes to visibility of your shop are very much appreciated!

Side question: is it worth paying for ads?

How do I put thoughts into action?

Hi everyone,

I’m extremely guilty of laying awake at night thinking of all the productive things and new habits / hobbies I’m going to bring into my life and doing nothing about it. The motivation is there somewhat when I first wake up, although it quickly disappears and when night time comes again I have done nothing and fallen into the same routine of going to work, coming home, scrolling socials, playing video games (again sometimes this seems like an effort even though I enjoy it), cooking dinner and going bed to the same productive thoughts I had the night before.

I know a lot of people have been here but I’d like to know how people actually put their thoughts into action?

The obvious is answer is to just do it but I really lack the motivation, it’s like my mind is motivated at night but the rest of me isn’t (ever), constantly thinking to myself I’ll start tomorrow which is never the case.

Example of things I think I want implement:
- Learning to cook and eating nutritious meals (hitting my calorie target everyday as I’m currently classed as underweight)
- Exercise routine, including getting my 10k steps in
- Skincare / self care routine
- Do more craft projects, crotchet etc

I really want to be one of those people who just has it together, as opposed to the lazy, procrastinating, unmotivated person I seem to be right now. Please help me!

Silksong straight after?

I finally completed Hollow Knight today, I absolutely loved the game and it’s the first of its kind I’ve played (I’m usually into the more cozy simulation/sandbox if I’m honest, other than Cuphead 😁)

So now I’m thinking of playing Silksong, however I’ve read that Silksong is way more tedious than Hollow Knight and wondered if anybody had started it straight after completing Hollow Knight and if they got exhausted by it / negatively impacted their play time?

I really want to play it but don’t want to start right after and get fed up with it after a week or so, if the general consensus it to wait a while before starting, does anyone have any similar games they enjoyed playing right after Hollow Knight?

EDIT: going back on Hollow Knight right now to collect the dream essence I need to get the true ending, thanks for all the heads up!
