On the waitlist for a class

Hey! I’m currently a senior and there’s a class I need to take but I’m currently on the waitlist and have been since fall registration. I’ve jumped from 5th place to 2nd over the summer. I was wondering how likely it’ll be to get enrolled into that class either before class starts or after the class starts?

Ive heard of students emailing professors to ask about opening the class up to more people, but I don’t know if that’s frowned upon/rude. There’s only 20 people in this class and it’s an online class. Thoughts?? TIA

Is it weird to wear a tube top in front of your dad?

I know this is probably dumb but I desperately need an outside opinion. I wear a lot of tube tops but usually avoid it when im with my dad. I’m sure be wouldnt care, believe it or not he’s not like those dads you hear about on tiktok (the creepy ones). He’s just my dad. Im also 22, so im not a kid lol.

My tube tops always cover my mid drift anyways and dont slip. I just dont know if it socially appropriate to wear a tube top in front of my dad

Realistically, how does April keep getting rehired?

Casual watcher, currently just now starting season 9. Homegirl killed a patient and got fired, then got fired and lost all her job openings in season 8. I googled it and own rehires her?? How do people keep letting her in?

On a side note, does Owen ever die? If so, what season and episode? Would LOVE to see it!

Where to buy contacts? Specifically online

My mom and I recently went no contact. I usually get my contacts and glasses through Costco but now I won’t have access to her Costco card/membership. What websites can I order my contacts from that aren’t crazy expensive but also not a scam? TIA!

Costco sucks now

This is such a silly thing to complain aboht but I just have to.

I grew up going to Costco, it was the only real grocery store where im from (I lived on an island for the first 18 years of my life). My family has been a member since 06.

Today I go to Costco, whatever. It’s always packed so that’s to be expected. Go to check out, there’s no physical check out stands. Only self check out. You get to self check out and there’s a guy wanting to scan your membership card and then all your items. I thought this was self check out???

You get to the machine and another worker scans your membership, all your items get pulled into the machine. Again, I thought this was self checkout??? There’s a worker per machine scanning your membership card again and again and it causes such a back up.

Don’t even get me started on the food court. You pay through a little kiosk and have to get in a line where there’s one kid working everything back there. You wait 15-20 minutes in this line for a cheap ass hotdog. You get your drink, no ice. I get coke, it’s flat. I miss when Costco had Pepsi because back then the soda actually had carbonation!

Moral of the story is, Costco sucks now and I hope they start losing customers so they go back to their old ways from the 2000s/2010s.

What exactly was lauzon’s injury?

I noticed he was wearing the no contact jersey at the practice today. I also know he’s been out since we played Utah. I’m curious to know what his injury was because Google says it was a puck to the side of the head but that the injury that took him out was unrelated to the headshot.

Mainly just curious. Lauzon is my favorite player and I hope he can return for at least a round for the cup

Curious on what else comes with VIP tickets

I bought VIP pit tickets for her show in Vegas when tickets went on sale (super excited!) This is my second time in pit for Doja cat). Never bought VIP for any artist. Does anyone know what is included with VIP? I think early access is included but I’m just curious

Confused on my final

I have a final for a class this week. The class is normally Monday and Wednesday from 11:30am-12:45pm. The professor said in class that the final would be on a Tuesday at 10:10am. The syllabus AND canvas show that the final exam is due on Wednesday. I’ve emailed the professor for clarification but haven’t heard back yet.

Hypothetically, if I missed my final due to this issue. What can I do about it?

Edit: thanks guys. I got a response to my email early this morning confirming it was Wednesday and he’d make an announcement on canvas. 😊
