Austin has really outgrown the airport

Counted 6 planes parked overnight on the apron near the terminal and 4 more on the far side at 6:15a this morning. Mix of AA, United, Delta and Alaska.

Any other Austin webpass users experiencing recurring service drops?

We moved downtown a month ago and in doing so had to switch from Google Fiber to Webpass. It has not been a smooth transition as I work from home and the frequency of 1-5 minute long outages is unacceptable. Unsure if this is my building or a Webpass issue. Does anyone else have the same experience?

Walkolution@ email is no longer responsive

Ordered the W1 w/ desk over a month ago and it still hasn't shipped. Was getting very quick responses via email that indicated shipping early/mid-July...have reached out 3x in last week and ZERO response...

Morning skyline from Pfluger Pedestrian Bridge

Just moved downtown and making a point to take my camera with me when I walk the dog to practice photography. Got this yesterday around 7:30a and thought I'd share.

Daily practice ideas - city walks - any recommendations?

We just moved into a downtown condo and I want to start taking my camera with me every time I walk the dog. Rather than just taking general photos, though, I'd like to figure out a system to focus on improving certain types of shots. Maybe rotating weekly or even daily. I also will have at least two longer walks per day, morning and evening, so will have different light to work with on different walks. Finally, I also have different zoom lens (15-35, 24-70, 70-200) to practice with.

Any recommendations for how to approach this? Obv I could use AI but would prefer something human generated if possible.

Dealer shenanigans on multiple levels - irritating

I really like my local dealer but the $70 cabin air filter replacement request for a $14 part that I replaced myself less than 3 mos ago (in <5 minutes!) is a transparent attempt at ripping me off.

Dishonest updates from support - stuck in account migration purgatory

GFiber processed an account transfer early despite me providing a future date. I've spent 5 hours on the phone and on chat over the last 24+ hours trying to get updates on how to cancel the account transfer. I kept being told that it would take 3 hours, or 6 hours, or 12 hours, or wait just another couple of hours. Finally tonight I find out the issue is that my account is stuck in the migration queue for their new billing system and supposedly won't be migrated until this Friday.

I can't stand the constantly gaslighting and fake updates just to get me off the phone.

EDIT: We're back up and running after being down a bit over 36 hours. Kudos to u/gfiberofficial for the support.

PSA: LCRA's Hydromet website is the best source of rainfall data

https://hydromet.lcra.org/

Tons of useful data for Austin & surrounding areas covered by LCRA. You can click specific stations to see rainfall graphs in 15 minute increments. At our house we got about an inch of rain between 2:40-2:55a.

Debating switching from Assault Runner Pro to Walkolution 2

I've had an Assault Runner Pro for just over 2 years now and I've put hundreds of miles on it, whether working or playing PS5, but all walking. I don't run on it at all. I've rigged up a laptop stand which is steady-ish. We're downsizing from a house to a condo and the buyer wants the assault runner, so thinking of switching to the walkolution 2 as it'll fit far better in my new smaller study, plus a proper integrated desk would be awesome.

Anyone with thoughts on making the switch? I'm not a super long strider but I am a tad concerned the walkolution might be too short. All advice welcome.
