Good Engagement Rate for Macro Influencers?

Hi,

I have an influencer marketing campaign I'm working on and I only want to work with influencers who are continuously having a consistent, high average engagement rate on their recent videos (to show they are still relevant).

I'm looking at influencers that have 1.5 million or more subs and taking their average enegament rate of, let's say their past 10 videos. That rate needs to be 3% or more.

Is that an adequate engagement rate or do I need to be looking at higher? Yes, I know smaller influencers have higher engagement rates, but my biggest goal is getting this campaign as far reaching as possible.

Thanks.

I am so confused on how to blur faces now

I use the object mask tool, then circle around the face, and then apply gaussian blur. But sometimes it doesn't follow the face at all and will be in random places.

But the biggest issue is it stays as some weird red layer. I don't understand this new system at all. I had no problems before this update on blurring faces, but this is so unintuitive.

Anywhere to get Tollhouse Semisweet Chocolates that isn't Costco?

I don't bake that much and I'm just looking to make this recipe one time for my coworkers. I need two bag equivalent of semisweet chocolates but buying one bag on Amazon is like 5000 yen. Is there anywhere to buy them? Or do Japanese semisweet chocolates taste the same as Tollhouse?

I already had to get other ingredients for this recipe so I really want to make sure the chocolate taste is the same as Tollhouse.

Thanks.

Why don’t people reserve when they go to the Immigration office?

When I went to drop off paperwork for a visa extension in Shinagawa Immigration office, I was wondering why more people don‘t use the reservation system.

I was in and out in 5 minutes with 1 person ahead of me. Looking over at the non-reservation line and it looks like a it would have been a 2 hour wait with 100 people.

How to put cold avocado into hot pressed sando?

I have ingredients to make a cheesy chicken sandwich that’ll slap your mama.

The only way to make it even more godly is to put avocado in it.

So how do I get the cold avocado bits into the hot pressed sandwich bits?

Thank you for your attention in this matter.

GLP1 Medication when you're not overweight?

Hello all,

For a good portion of my life, I used to be overweight. I finally got to a stable healthy weight, but in the past year with a few life events, I've gone back to my binge eating ways.

Before I get into overweight territory again, I want to check out if GLP1 is possible for me. Yes, I'm not diabetic but my family in general has issue with weight and even the males in my family are susceptible to cancers from being overweight.

I don't mind paying out of my own pocket. I would like to check out GLP1 meds. Are there clinics that prescribe even if you're not overweight?

Thanks.

A bug is biting me at night

First, it's not bed bugs.

Every summer in Japan, without fail, I will get one bug bite at night that swells up the bite site for multiple days.

I've gotten bitten by mosquitos before but they swell and fall down pretty soon.

But this kind of bite's swelling lasts a few days and is painful and itchy.

I'm so tired of it.

What cowardly bug is biting me during my sleep?

Edit:
Pic of bite for the morbidly curious:

How are people styling bleached hair everyday?

I‘ve been doing research on how to care for my bleached hair. Got dry shampoo and some hair mask products.

However, with all the videos saying: don‘t apply any heat to your hair, don’t wash your hair, etc. how am I supposed to style my hair and keep it healthy at the same time?

I sleep with an eye mask on because I rent and the sun gets through my blinds. I also sleep on silk, don’t really use my pillows, but my hair just becomes a weird uneven mess when I wake up.

My hair is fine but wavy. It tends to really frizz out too. have had tons of flyaways on the top of my head. White 30s female, by the way if that matters.

So how should I style my hair when I wake up each day?

thanks.

Awareness with Gen Z is Target KPI, is it OK to have no segmentation?

My company is a bit unique in that we are doing things for a lot of industries and our biggest one that we are visible in and has an end user is the fashion industry.

We don't want to just focus on the fashion industry though at this point and our big KPI is just to raise awareness with Gen Z.

I'm trying to make our Branding strategy but I'm questioning myself. First, I wouldn't know how to segment this audience, but with this KPI isn't our target just Gen Z in general?

For now, I've set my target segement as just all of Gen Z. Is that workable or do I need to segment it out somehow?

First Time to 4Cs Insights and I Feel I'm Not Diving Deep Enough...

I'm trying to use 4Cs (Consumer, Category, Company, Context) to find insights for a brand strategy for a Clothes Company that wants to market to Gen Z.

I have asked and answered questions in a Word Doc and I'm trying to go through each C one at a time. So far my insights are:

Consumer: In Gen Z’s high-speed, chaotic world, Fashion becomes a battleground to find identity.

Category: Gen Z is skeptical and stress tests Brand product against its personality and community.

Without going into all my background research from reports on Gen Z and poring through other company's social media pages, are these any good and do they go deep enough?

Thanks.

I live in Japan and eat shishito peppers a lot there and find that they’re not spicy in Japan. I bought them when I came back to the USA at my parents supermarket but this variant seems spicier than the Japanese variant.

Now I want to try and make a sauce out of them so we can use them up because eating them as is is just too spicy for the household.

We need to cook up some shrimp, I’m looking for ground up shishito sauce recipes but am not having a lot of luck.

Any recommendations?

Thanks.

I live overseas but my parents live in Jeffersonville. I’m home visiting and just found out about the data center that is being built near them. It’s so hard to find out about primary candidates positions so I wanted to know if anyone knows who the best candidates to vote for who oppose AI data centers.

I am Progressive but fuck, I’ll vote for the (saner?) Republican if it means we can have a chance to not get fucked here.

Edit: After checking out 411, for Clark County, Tim Peck seems to be the best Democratic candidate to stop Data Centers.
