Trying to buy Copilot Pro in 2026 is like trying to buy a unicorn from a vending machine

So I’ve spent the last 48 hours trying to buy Copilot Pro for my Microsoft 365 Family owner account, and I feel like I’ve unlocked a new category of psychological torture.

Here’s the journey so far:

  • Copilot tells me: “Upgrade to Pro!”
  • The upgrade button: doesn’t exist
  • The Family dashboard: “Upgrade to Premium!”
  • Premium: does NOT include Pro
  • Microsoft Support: “Pro is included!”
  • Also Microsoft Support: “Pro is not included.”
  • Also also Microsoft Support: “Pro no longer exists.”
  • The M365 app: “JPG is a valid file type!”
  • Also the M365 app: refuses to upload the JPG
  • The web version: uploads the same JPG instantly like nothing happened
  • Sales team: “Call us Monday.”
  • Me: “It’s Saturday.”
  • Sales team: “¯\\(ツ)/¯”

Apparently Copilot Pro is in a quantum state right now:
It both exists and does not exist, depending on which Microsoft employee you ask.

Meanwhile, the Copilot website is the only version that actually works, the M365 app is living in 2024, and the purchase page for Pro has been sent into the void.

So… is anyone else stuck in this “Copilot Pro Schrödinger Edition” situation?
Has anyone actually managed to buy it recently?
Or are we all just waiting for Microsoft to remember they used to sell this thing?

Send help. Or a Pro subscription. Either one.

Usb b c charging nightmare cables vs samsung s24

I sometimes have to walk over to a different super fast charger or use a shorter 3 foot cable instead if 6 to super fast charge are 6 or 10 foot cables incompatible with super fast charging or glitches as sometimes they work and other times they do not. I am trying to have it be consistent

Combination that has been unstable

Belkin block belken 6 foot 5amp cable with echip

Belkin block ugreen 6 foot 5 amp with echip

Belkin block amazon basics unknown amp or echip seems to work so far and its 6 feet

Belkin block 3 foot ugreen 5amp echip works

Samsung 45 watt super fast charge block and samsung cable that came with it unstable only works if no more then 50 percent charged by a different charger tried multiple brand new ones then randomly it will work from 0 percent and super fast charge

Whats happening for the tomes the s24 is not detecting a charge

If I use 3 amp block and cords with no echip I think basic usb c cables it regular fast chargesb90 percent of the time but sometimes does not detect on longer cords

Why dont usb cable makers label the ends better to says usb 2. Usb 3 usb 3.2 and show gbs and watts

Some will say 100 watts or 10gb on the end but most do not and i have to test them or manually label them. I think it would be nice if this were a future standard for ease in knowing what a cable can do just by looking at it

What are the best name brand reloable 5amp usb c cables for samsung s24 fast charging for instance

I find that the 2 prong usb c travel adapters fall out of walls why dont they make 3 prong

I have bought some fast usb 5amp chargers for samsung s24 and have trouble consistently getting it to charge unless the charger is tightly connected to a flat ac power strip on the floor. I feel as if the charge block had a ground wire it would make better connection.

If I plug into a vertical ac plug the weight of these 2 plug chargers makes them fall out sometimes and then the usb c device loses connectivity. This happen more often with the 5 amp charge blocks then 3amp ones. Why are 5 amp ones less stable when negotiating to charge a samsung s24 cell phone.

When I make the plug more flush with the ac it seems to be more stable but they should be made that that is not needed.

Separately

I have also been searching for something that can charge a tv and a cable box a fan a lamp a wifi puck and fast charge a usb c 5amp samsung s24 reliably from a name brand all in one unit. The ones I have found on amazon that are not name brands have bad reviews and the name brands only have 2 ac plugs any ideas for a good one?

PSA for anyone using Copilot as a “quick verifier” on physical/IT hardware: I hit a repeatable case where Copilot inferred standard IEC C13/C14 power-cord compatibility and even suggested a 10‑ft replacement cord for the Anker Prime 6‑in‑1 (A9128). That turned out to be unsupported by vendor docs.

Verified facts (primary sources):

  • Vendor listings consistently state it ships with a 5‑ft detachable cord (not 10‑ft). [newegg.com], [walmart.com]
  • Anker support explicitly says the A9128 cord is detachable but not sold separately as a standalone item (i.e., not intended as a generic user‑replaceable cord). [officedepot.com]

Why this matters: It’s easy for an LLM to “fill in” with common patterns (PC power cord, IEC C13/C14) when a product photo resembles a standard inlet. For safety and compliance decisions, that’s risky—especially when grounding/connector assumptions affect recommended mitigation (extension cord vs replacement cord vs “just swap IEC lead”).

Takeaway: For anything involving power, grounding, cable type, connector standards, or safety, treat LLM output as a hypothesis until verified against vendor manual/support pages.

If you want Microsoft to fix these patterns:

  • Use the in‑product Copilot thumbs‑down feedback (Microsoft documents this channel). [bestbuy.com]
  • File an issue on the Microsoft Feedback Portal under the Microsoft 365 Copilot app (they track and aggregate issues there). [bestbuy.com], [youtube.com]

Curious if others have seen similar “pattern completion” errors on hardware / cabling / electrical topics, and what reporting paths actually got traction.

I see various xfinity wifi poping up as i wall around but they do not connect automatically

Some you manually connect and it says login with xfinity pass etc isn't the app supposed to do it all for you?

Let me know how to set up so i don't ha e to log in over and overr to every xfinity hot spot as that seems counterintuitive and if it asks for user name and password i choose forget network as i am not sure its a real xfinity hot spot any faq or answers to the above scenario appreciated. Its an android device ice

When searching copilot it says this has been a request since around 2020

Does anyone have a link to the request

Does anyone have a workaround

Perhaps notifcations could be set to silent and tasker could alert on notification maybe as a workaround?

In the web view I can sort by anything and create filters and can see other team members tickets but app seems to be very limited at least in the views I can see. I read that this may be to the cards not being created for this views by an admin?

On a samsung s24 if you share file and click share and pick quick share then there is to tabs send the file and to whom and another that says receive. I can't find any way to get to the receive panel directly with out trying to share something 1st. Is there a direct way to get that screen to open and be active another way?

I have allow recieve from only my devices and this is one way to receive files from a friends samsung but its not any easy way and trying to have a tasker way to make it easier. Samsung has a build in way in their quick tabs to choose allow anyone for 10 minutes but trying to do it the other way described which allows anyone for as long as that screen is open and on top

If it in usb c port by itself it constantly connects and disconnects from the usb bus on windows 11

If you also plug a power usb cable in the other usb c port the laptop wont charge and both have to be removed for 60 seconds before either can be plugged in individually

If you plug the yubi key in to the usb a side with a usb a to usb c converter it is also makes a bad connection and has to be jiggled just like on the usb c side . This combo is slightly better as power continues to work on the usb c side.

On both sides the yubikey seems to be breaking contact and does the ding connected to to usb and ding unconnected to usb sound that windows 11 makes randomly

Does this sound like a bad contact in the yubi key or something else.

Also there does not seem to be a wide selection of usb a male to usb c female adapters or cables from companies like belkin anker or amazon basic on amazon when I did a search . Any recommendations s of what work best for a yubikey to make it have a better connection and a secure brand that passes the data safetly would be appreciated and it doesnt have to support power charging which i can hear can overload yubikeys.

Also looking for pouches to connect to the back of the laptop to store the yubikey and cables that connect to the yubi key hole in the middle that are strong and not cloth that i mostly see.
