In your opinion, what are some must-have tools for home cleaning?

I've recently started an illustrious career as a room cleaner at a small seaside hotel, and i have learned a lot in the few months that i've worked there that i can use at home to make cleaning easier, which is great since cleaning my home really is the last thing i wanna do after making it my job. Anyways, i have adopted the method of getting rid of a bucket of water in favor of a stack of microfiber cloths and a spray bottle of surface cleaner, and it makes cleaning surfaces so much easier, but i wanna hear what tools all of you would recommend that would make it easier. Thanks for reading.

Rant: "bro just run auric-" I CAN'T! By the Throne, some of us don't have the skill for that.

This is a rant. if you are still here, thanks for reading i guess?

Over the last few days, as i've been doing various penances, i've been googling for advice on some of them, and it seems every single time there are a bunch of people that basically go "this is easy, just go into an Auric-something" as if all of us are able to just do that! like, these people are aware that Auric is among the hardest content in the game, yes? like, i've got 400 hours on the game as of today, but i still do not go above Heresy myself. Yes i know it is a skill issue, no it does not make my arguement invalid, assuming everyone can run Auric is stupid.

alright, done.

Could use some advice on one of my players attempting to ignore my GM dice roll on a menial task

EDIT: MENIAL TASKS THAT THE CHARACTERS HAVE NO EXPERIENCE IN! i should have probably mentioned that initially, sorry. It is just for the fun of it, to add a bit of unexpectedness to it.

I am rather inexperienced in this whole GM thing, and would like some advice on how you all would handle this. We are playing a text based RPG that i made myself and my friend failed a dice roll to clean his armor, but he seems to insist on keeping at it. Because of the nature of this text game, it involves rolling for a number of menial tasks, and i worry that if i let him reroll this until he succeeds, it will encourage him to think he can get away with just doing that for anything that could be considered a failed roll without any true consequences involved. Now before you suggest that i talk with him about it, i will do that if i have to, but unfortnately he is also the kind of person who sometimes take critique poorly, and as he is one of my best friends, i would naturally rather avoid that. Thanks for reading.

Takker for svar =)

Behold! this piece of cheap plastic i got brand new for $70 eight years ago, with the power to fell a rainforest!

I got this lawnmower eight years ago when i moved in to this apartment, and as much as i really want to replace it with a cordless one, i cannot deny that this thing has soldiered on much better than something this cheap has any right to. I have used it on many a mistreated (by me) lawns of knee-high grass and weeds, and it has mulched it all without slowing down.

Is there a list somewhere of matching truck and trailer paintjobs?

I am trying to figure out which of the various DLC paintjobs i want to get, but my experience from owning a few already is that not all of them have trailer paintjobs that match the truck, and the ones that do are not always obvious, so i was hoping someone knew of a list somewhere that shows which DLC has trailer paintjobs that match the truck ones. Thanks.

Whats a mod that you hope gets/look forward to getting ported to Enhanced?

Gonna put IQOL right here at the top, because i know a lot of ya'll are gonna say that one =P

For me, i've favorited the mods from Legacy that i am keeping a look out for. Luckily for me, most of them have been converted now, but of the ones i am still hoping for are:

Evils Emporium
Evils Cabinet
Ladies of Evil
Female Legacy Faces

Female New Faces

or really just any good alternative to the above mods.

Whats a good battery powerd mower for a tiny yard?

I live in an apartment with a tiny front and back yard and i am really tired of my old corded lawnmower. I got to try a Ryobi mower at my new job recently, and it got a surprising amount of power for something that runs on a powertool battery, so i definitely want some like that, but i'd love some opinions and advice on which brands and models i should look for. thanks!

Does anyone have a comprehensive list of all unlockable knowledge and how to find it?

I am of course referring to the things you can only unlock with Knowledge points after interacting with specific items or people. I tried going through the wiki page, but it is a mess in regards to finding all of it. Thanks for any resources ya'll can provide.

Can oven baked very firm Tofu function as a replacement for croutons in salads?

EDIT: I should have mentioned in my OP that i live in Scandinavia, so our prices differ a lot from American prices. I apologize.

I've never cooked Tofu before, but it is something i've been wanting to try. My first thought was to try it as a replacement for chicken, but when i compared the price of Tofu VS the price of chicken by weight, it is not worth the price, but then i had an idea: now correct me if i am wrong here, but Tofu mainly takes on the flavor of whatever you season it with, yes? so could i in theory chop it into small cubes, season it with salt, garlic powder and whatever other seasoning i like, bake it in the oven until super crisp and effectively make a protein replacement for store bought croutons? Thanks for entertaining my strange idea.

Best faction themed Boff weapons?

So i am aware that the Wide Beams from the Romulan weapons vendors are considered best for Boffs to use, but if i wanted to go Phaser for my Fed and Disruptor for my Kdf boffs, what would be the best choice in your opinion? thanks.

Why is there such a staggering difference between the brownie in the Half Baked and the Fudge Brownie?

For context, this is in Denmark. It may not be relevant at all, but i figured i'd point it out, in case it was.

It ain't exactly a secret that the brownie in Chocolate Fudge Brownie has gotten pretty bad, with it being all dry and stuff now, but for some reason the brownie in the last many Half Baked i've eaten has been perfectly good. Like, it's been soft and gooey, the way Fudge Brownie used to be years ago. Why in the world is there even a difference at all???

Is there an in-universe explanation for why the Romulan and Reman homeworld is named after ancient earth mythological characters?

While i cannot POSSIBLY imagine why the show writers would name the homeworld of a bunch of paranoid and sneaky aliens after characters from Roman mythology who famously commited fratricide (/S) it did make me wonder if this connection is ever questioned in any of the shows or movies? Thanks.

EDIT: well this took off! thanks for all the responses folks, i'm gonna save my inbox some pain now and turn off replies. Live long and goon on!

Question regarding ship materials/patterns

So i bought the Legendary Vesta a lil bit ago. wonderful ship, absolutely love it. Now, what i did not know at the time is that by getting this ship, i have unlocked the ability to put the grey intel-style material of said ship on ALL my FED ships now, and it made me wonder if there is anything like that on the KDF side? I love the black material from the Kurak and the various Pilot Raptors, i don't suppose those can be aquired for all other ships by getting a specific one? thanks.

So did we just leave the Delta Quadrant in the clutches of a Vaadwaur civil war that might well see the place worse off than when we arrived?

So i am not an alt-aholic. I have a couple of characters i play, and that is it, but i decided to finally make a KDF character after many years, and as such it has also been many years since i played through the old content. A few days ago i finished the Delta Quadrant story, and it suddenly hit me that from the perspective of me the player, it seems we just went in there, revealed what was going on with the Vaadwaur, started a massive Vaadwaur civil war, and then kinda just left the place to deal with the fallout? Also going by the mission "Dust to Dust" the Vaadwaur is still waging war on the Kobali, and still pushing them hard, in spite of also dealing with their own civil war. Now it is of course possible that something unspoken is supposed to be playing out in the background to maybe stabilize things a little, but without that being spoken or even hinted at to the player, i am left wondering if i just made the Delta Quadrant an even more unstable and dangerous place to live in than it was, by destabilizing the most powerful military organization in the quadrant until we got there. Thoughts?
