Cat calling consequences

I don’t know if this belongs here but here we go. I was walking in the street minding my own business when a guy started saying. Hey miss you are pretty or something like that.

i just ignored it and went in my way. Idk if he was going the same way or follow me but he started saying pssss pretty lady pssss like idk he is calling a cat. I was annoyed, his ethnicity was clear and I could speak his language.

I turned around and told him in his native language (evident also by his accent):

are you proud of yourself, behaving this way?

rn some other idiot is doing the same thing to your mother and sister! I hope you are ok with that too!

the dude went blank (especially in their culture The mom and sis is really someone you don’t touch lol)

he was like wait what? what?

You heard me, aren’t you ashamed already ?

he stopped following me I laughed so hard. I hope this taught him a lesson !

It’s time to seat sprouting 🌱

Sprout your lentils, beans and even other stuff for you salads !

it’s really like very very cheap greens! It’s super healthy and quick (not like growing veggies). It takes less than a week just leave by the sink and water when you use it (once to twice a day)

here some lentils I sprouted!

no heating yogurt making.

with the heat that is not even excessive I tried to see if one can make dairies.

so far I made fromage blanc , yogurt and even cottage cheese/ricotta with nothing just the he heat. I used glass jars. for the cottage/ricotta I used the water from the mozzarella and added milk.

I think this is pretty neat, so I wanted to share!

other things I have made previously: dried citrus peels, made dried tomatoes (and dried peppers) using the sun rays. one can also dry figs!

Free and zero waste and yummy food . Went for a walk and discovered much more!

I discovered a new place where I got vine leaves! But also potentially pomegranate, figs, grapes and linden (for tea yay) ! So I will be foraging soon lol! Dolmas soon!!!!

also after heavy rain my mint is full of clovers .

It’s edible !!!! I tried it and like it a lot so I guess I have free greens for a while !

so clover mind and wild chard are my salad right now!

is this a frugal zero waste win?

This made me around 10 big bowls of yummy filling soup for around 2 bucks (total). I think it might be helpful for some.

ingredients:

  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 1 cup red lentils
  • 1 onion
  • 1 small can of diced tomatoes (16 oz , 400g)
  • optional here: frozen peas about a cup and half, but could be any veggies you have grated or julienned
  • garlic
  • salt , Chili powder, ginger and turmeric but just salt and pepper or Chili would do or even curry powder.

I was cold and I was busy, I didn’t want to bother browning the onion (it would make it better if you want to do that) . I mixed everything and added water (more than 6 times the volume of lentils+ cornmeal)

stir until it starts boiling, then reduce heat and come to stir from time to time!

cheap , delicious , easy and filling! it is pouring outside and I could not go shopping (here the streets flood when it does) so this was easy and yummy and warming!

One can add parsley or coriander at the end if they had any!
