Exercise after IVF transfer, but with a lot of anxiety..?

Hello,

After 4 years and 6 failed IVF cycles, I moved on to donor eggs. We unfortunately only got two euploid embryos. I transferred the first one at the beginning of the year, and while it worked, it turned out to be a blighted ovum.

I transferred the second one recently, and I am now 4w3d pregnant.

I have always exercised a lot, have been doing CrossFit for a very long time as an intermediate-RX athlete and just like for a lot of you, exercise keeps me sane.

It’s now almost 3 weeks that I have done zero exercise. They told me that I’m only allowed very very light exercise for the first trimester, but I can’t even bring myself to do that. I’m paralyzed by fear and afraid I’ll do something to jeopardize this pregnancy. But, I think about it it all the time.

My priority is this future potential baby’s health, but my mental health is also very important and I’m struggling with what to do.

Has anyone had similar fears? If you were on progesterone shots, did you exercise during your first trimester?

TIA

9 dpt getting lighter?? 14 dpo equivalent

Hi… I’m worried about this progression. Shouldn’t my lines be darker by now? Shouldn’t 9 dpt be much darker than 8? In the pic the top one is 8 dpt and bottom is 9 dpt. Thoughts?

Help please! Looking for positive stories when lines get a bit lighter!

I am freaking out as this is my last DE embryo after 6 failed IVF cycles…
I took a test yesterday around 1 pm (the one at top on the pictures) and the line was faint but definitely there. I took another one this morning expecting it to be much darker because of FMU but it’s actually visibly lighter… Any positive stories please??

Thanks

A handy person to “consult”..?

Hello,

We just got 3 bathroom remodeling quotes, that are all very very expensive. We wouldn’t mind doing the work ourselves (except plumbing and electrical), but don’t have much experience. Is there such thing of a consultation where you pay an expert to tell you how to do the remodeling and then you do it yourself?

Thanks

One last DE embryo but I’m heartbroken

After 6 failed IVF cycles with my own eggs (plenty of day1 embryos no blasts) I moved on to donor eggs, we got two embryos… I transferred the first one a couple of months ago and was SO thrilled when it worked but at 9 weeks was called a blighted ovum and I had to have a d&c 😞

In the meantime, TWO out of my three girl cousins have announced they are pregnant with their firsts. Their due dates are all around the one mine would be.

This last miscarriage really messed me up and the news of them being pregnant broke my heart because of how close our due dates would’ve been…

It’s like I can’t let myself be excited for this next transfer cause it’s my last one but everything is overshadowed by grief. I’ve been in therapy for four years about all this now but I still feel terrible.

I just hope with all my heart that it works because otherwise I don’t know what I’m going to do

3 years, 6 failed IVF cycles, countless procedures, 1st DE transfer… I cannot win

TW: miscarriage
I cant believe im typing this. I had 6 failed IVF cycles at 30 yo where I couldn’t make blasts, including the last cycle ending up in the ER for severe internal bleeding and needing a transfusion.

In January I moved on to donor eggs after spending an ungodly amount of money and transferred last month - was SO thrilled to see the first positive… Today I go in for my 6w3d scan and of course a beautiful gestational sac is seen, and it’s COMPLETELY empty.

I cannot believe this. Blighted ovum.

I’ve always taken great care of my body and once again it has failed me.

Will I ever have a baby?

We only have one more embryo and kind of want to roll straight into another FET. I’m done with the waiting game. Plus, I had Endo excision surgery I February and don’t want to get too far away from that date.

I don’t even really know what I’m trying to achieve with this post. Maybe I just need to feel heard. I’m tired of getting beaten up like this from life.

Please help.. 5w6d measuring behind

Hi all.

Has anyone gone to have a successful pregnancy despite gestational sac measuring small? I went in at 5w6d (abdominal scan only) and all they could see was a GS measuring 5w1d-5w2d.
I’m freaking out, but would also like to know both positive and negative outcomes if anyone here has experience with this.

TIA

Low hcg, ultrasound showed only gestational sac measuring 4 days behind. Please help

Hello,

Here’s my HCG values post IVF:

8dpt: HCG of 8
10dpt: HCG of 35
12 dpt: HCG of 113
17dpt: HCG of 1691 (22 dpo equivalent)
20dpt: HCG of 2997 (25 dpo equivalent)

This last one had a slow doubling times of about 62 hours.

I went to get an abdominal ultrasound and they could only see gestational sac measuring 4-5 days behind.

Am I screwed?

I need positive stories of people with low HCG and slowed down doubling times please!!!

Hi all,
For context, I failed 6 IVF cycles with my own eggs so just did a transfer with donor eggs. I was SO thrilled to see a faint line at 7dpt, but the numbers are very low and I’m concerned.

8dpt: HCG of 8
10dpt: HCG of 35
12 dpt: HCG of 113
17dpt: HCG of 1691
20dpt: HCG of 2997

Not only this last HCG is much lower than what I see other people having, but it’s also got a doubling time of 62 hours if I counted correctly.

I’ve also been having pretty bad cramps since week 4 but I read that this is somewhat normal

Anyone else have a similar situation and things ended up being alright? Thanks in advance!!

Please help.. very low HCG and cramping?

Hi all,
For context, I failed 6 IVF cycles with my own eggs so just did a transfer with donor eggs. I was so thrilled to see a faint line at 7dpt, but the numbers are very low and I’m concerned.

8dpt: HCG of 8
10dpt: HCG of 35
12 dpt: HCG of 113
17dpt: HCG of 1691
20dpt: HCG of 2997

I feel like HCG is slowing down and it’s also much lower than what I see other people having. I’ve also been having pretty bad cramps since week 4.

Any thoughts? I’m freaking out.

Very low beta after IVF transfer… help

Hello,

I transferred a day-5 3BB 12 days ago. I got a super squinter (NO ONE could see it but me) on day 5 post transfer, then on day 7 it was there but very light. I got a private blood test and it came back as HCG of 8. That was super low.

These are my bloodwork so far:

7 dpt (12 dpo equivalent): 8

10 dpt (15 dpo equivalent): 35

12 dpt (17 dpo equivalent): 113

These are doubling but still seem super low. This is my first DE transfer after failing 6 IVF cycles and the embryo was euploid so my hopes were up, and now I’m so scared. Please help - any opinion is very much appreciated.

I’ve been on this sub for a long long time. I started years ago at 28 full of hope - relatively young, perfect labs, great BMI, regular exercise, clean diet, using donor sperm.

Well, fast forward, after 6 IVF cycles and a ton of fertilized eggs, I only ever made a single total day-6 early blast that failed to implant. Every other one always arrested between days 3-6. I tried everything possible under the sun: changing donor, changing clinics multiple times, zymot, omnitrope, several different protocols (agonist vs antagonists), day-3 transfer, all the supplements in the world, I even got a laparoscopy that showed Endo even though not on the ovaries.

Finally, I decided I cared more about being a mom than about my genetics. So I now have two donor egg euploid blasts available.

I just had my transfer of one of them yesterday and I am so anxious. Everything apparently went well and it’s a modified natural, but I’m so scared it won’t work. I feel so betrayed by my body that I now have no confidence in it.

Can someone please give me some hope?

The embryo is a day-5 early blast rated BB…

TIA
