Saw this great 2 order $65 batch first thing when I logged on this morning. Low item count and everywhere was easy to find. Drop-off was really close as well. I thought it was perfect.

But I get to the store and start shopping and realize both orders are for the same customer and are identical orders. I called support just to confirm if I should shop both, they confirmed it was some sort of glitch and there was not meant to be 2 orders so they cancelled one.

Oh well. I’m still completely happy with the pay, still a great order. But in my head I was going to be getting an easy $65

First of all this batch randomly had a promo applied despite there being no active promo? Never seen this happen before but okay?

Anyways I get to the store and notice every item except the milk was sold out. The customer had selected an iPad as a replacement for each item. I thought it could have been a mistake and sent pictures of appropriate replacements. But the customer insisted they wanted the iPad…

I’m not dumb, I know this is clearly a scam attempt. So I contacted support and told them the situation. They agreed it was weird and just cancelled it for me.

But wtf lol. Just a weird experience for me.

My first time seeing this. But wtf even is the bonus? If you subtract the tip, the pay comes to like $5, is the bonus like 50 cents or something🤣

Looks like when you do this, it goes through some verification one. Took a good 30 seconds to verify for me. Sigh, another headache to deal with on this job now

I still have no idea why Instacart allows customers to order these. I’ve literally never once gone to a store that had pokemon cards in the batch where the cards were actually available. Pokemon scalpers have been around for like 2 years now, I am fairly certain a vast majority of pokemon cards get refunded. Instacart just needs to remove them from the platform man.
