What's up with job market?

What is causing the job market to be so terrible that they can't simply hire people? Multiple interviews, unrealistic expectations about multiple experiences, low salaries. Like why is this happening? I want to know the root cause of this issue. People give 150+ applications and only 2 of them get back? Like why? What is making getting jobs soo tough?

Clinical and IO psychology. Interested in both.

I'm interested in both clinical and industrial/organisational psychology. The only thing is that I'm concerned about salaries. I don't want to land in a field that makes me regret. I am doing masters and haven't selected my specialisation yet.

After masters I might move abroad but i am unsure about that.

Will clinical be safer if I ever want to transition to io? I'm from India.

These people are large in number in my surroundings especially college. I wanna build a routine which is quite intellectual. Can yall suggest what to read, what ti explore etc in my free time so i dont become like them without knowing?

Does content creation really payoff?

I see a lot of people wanting massive number of followers, promoting stuff and doing anything to get views. Do platforms like Instagram really pay people? For eg if I wanna create a psychology page and I get a lot of views/followers...would Instagram pay me? Is content creation the future fr?

Vacation time!

I'm into piano, guitar and industrial psychology. I wanna learn and do something meaningful. What courses or activities do you all suggest?

Apart from playing the instruments, I wanna do something creative this vacation.

Heavy rains outside so can't do outdoor activities for a few days. Need suggestions for indoor activities

Hey I'm F looking for good friends around Europe

Hey, I'm looking for emotionally mature friends. I like listening to 80s rock, I play musical instruments, I paint, I’m into psychology, I'm introverted, sensible, authentic, kind, understanding.

I just don't like drama and hypocrisy/fake stuff.

Comment if you wanna be good friends 😊

I want to become a piano teacher abroad

In a few years, I'm considering to move abroad like Germany or Australia. I have given my grade 8 piano exam from ABRSM London board. I'm from India. Are there any other qualifications needed? Is the demand good?

How does IO psychology's career pathway look like?

I'm interested in organisational development, even learning and development. For that, do people get some HR experience first? I was into clinical psychology before then I changed my mind. I'm not quite sure how this career path works. I wanted some corporate exposure as well and it's so hard to get an email back from HR dep. Even if they get back they offer HR admin roles.

My question to the ones who are pursuing io is that how do you all manage to get an internship? How do we get niche roles?

Job market is horrendous

Music is something I enjoy, however there is too much of competition and that's why reason why people telling me not treat it as the primary source of income. I've done my bachelors in psychology and I hate corporate work/depressing rooms. +AI will replace many jobs soon. It's just annoying man 😬

Clinical psychology vs IO psychology

Hey guys! I'm a psychology graduate. Totally confused between clinical and io psychology. Psychology as a subject is always interesting, but when it comes to workplaces...it's disappointing. I've worked in a public hospital as it was required to do by the college, the infrastructure was terrible, the environment was depressing. Then I thought maybe io might be my path? Looking at the corporate world...I feel it's full of politics and absolutely no consideration for employees even during harsh weather conditions. I am going to do my masters.. but totally confused. I have skills, yet these conditions upset me. Ik it's wrong to judge a field by one workplace setting. I wanna know your experiences. Feel free to comment!

I am from India btw.
