GG&G scope mount on 22” - considering also an archangel precision

Can anyone comment on the scope mount regarding usability of iron sights, retaining stripper clips and fitment into other aftermarket stocks?

Thinking the archangel precision part sorta negates me using any irons, and the gg&g mounts to the barrel which impacts accuracy? So it kinda points back to a sadlak?

But if I wanted to be less precision(perhaps keep stock - stock) the gg&g might be a good fit?

Backpacking Shi Shi to Ozette

Day 1 take shuttle at noon from Ozette to Shi Shi trailhead, half day out to Shi Shi beach

Day 2 Shi Shi to south Ozette

Day 3 south Ozette down to maybe wedding rocks and take the long way back or short way back to Ozette where the car is?

Suggestions, comments on the tides ? Or campsites at Shi Shi beach?

I’ve done the oil city to third beach route before.

What kind of rattler did I buy?

I guess I thought the gas block kinda looked like this but it is not correct looking vs my MCX regulator?

Did I get a first gen or something… or did someone switch the barrel out ? Doesn’t seem to be adjustable.

The one in question is in black

Roof top tent - crossbars - GFC super lite

Whelp looks like my super lites mounting points are a tad bit wider than the factory crossbars.

Two options

  1. Find some other mounting options on the superlite

  2. Find some aftermarket cross bars.

Thoughts folks?

I will probably move back to my Yakima skyrise

HD 4.5 - DSC Gunworks island comp ? Anyone done work with them?

This said service - seems pretty legit - you get to keep your warranty + get the ability to have a comped barrel. I may end up shooting this thing in LO Uspsa so I want to keep it for that and also have a comp perhaps.

Anyone have feedback back? The return to zero of the sight block on this thing is already excellent

HD P4.5 - replacement front sight

So I got the cheaper version which didn’t have a tritium front sight. I’ve been reading different things, but what kind of front sight do I need to be compatible with the stock black rear? I hear they make a front fiber but I prefer a something like the yellow ring + tritium on the next tier up.

Are all dove tail sights the same? Just the height I need to worry about correct?

I’ve replaced a handful of M&p sights but I just went on ameriglos website and used a sight pusher wham bam easy?
