Which disposition is the best for aircraft?

If you’re a sicko who likes playing with a ton of airplanes, which disposition is best for them do you think?

In addition to any shooting, I suppose they can also push out deepstrike space for your opponent.

In recon they can score primary points in reconnaissance sweep by being in table quarters.

Are any dispositions set up where they’ve got more than one primary that aircraft can at least contribute to?

Learning a new track

Was just driving by the Markham track and I saw Will Power’s demo video the other day. Got me thinking how does a driver learn a new track like this or Washington?

I assume most drivers have their own sim rigs so could at least learn a layout to a track they’re unfamiliar with. And I assume the teams would have a private simulator. But how much time would a driver get in that sim? How early would they get access?

It’s interesting to see folks learning a track that doesn’t currently exist. I wonder how many blunders might come from lack of time?

Dragging audio over another region

Hi all, I’m moving over to Logic from ableton.
Today, I was recording some multi track drums.
I tried to cut a chorus out and drag it over another section.

It appeared to work; but after I played back, I could hear both the new and old section at same time. Is there a setting so when I paste or drag something new, the old content is gone? Or do I have to manually delete it first?

Rally recommendations

Hi all, I’m debating getting into the hobby and wondering if my perfect car exists? I live rural and have a few acres with a big dirt and gravel driveway. I’m also a photographer and interested in doing rc scale rally photos.

I’m looking for either a rally car or a baja style truck that has realistic looking details and proportions. I’d like to be able to kick up dirt on drift turns in the driveway/laneway. I’d also love to be able to jump things.

Overall speed isn’t that important to me. Any suggestions where I should look? Some of the rlaarlo stuff seems intriguing, anything else?

Disruption action timing

Looking at Death Trap… the Trap action happens in your shooting phase and completes immediately.

This makes me think I could charge afterwards on this specific action?

But then the core rules say you can’t shoot or charge after starting an action.

So which is it? I’d think i can still charge, considering there are lots of units that can do an action and still shoot etc. it seems like the base rule, but then the mission over rides it. Thoughts?

Plans for black spear/priority assets

I was so excited to deepstrike my frag cannons back into rapid fire range and just kill like the good old days.

But now I think how the disposition is Priority Assets and I wonder.. what are the best options available here for cheap, skirmish, action possibilities?

I’ve never played with actions in mind, but considering a very different, tactical style of play here. But where to start??? Deathwatch guns are so much fun, it’s hard to imagine doing actions instead of shooting them lol.

Five man spectrus teams maybe?

Force dispositions and choosing missions

I’m trying to wrap my head around this and wanted to clarify from a competitive point of view.

From what I can tell, there is the matrix system which lays out what your primary mission would be based on your force disposition vs your opponent’s disposition.

For a tournament, you’d be locked into your disposition.

So what about practice? I’ve got a friend who I primarily practice for tournaments with. For large events we will tube and practice our lists with maybe a game per week.

Assuming we’re both practicing the same list, is it fair to say that we’d be playing the same mission in every practice game?

Let’s say I’m Purge the Foe and he’s Take and Hold, the matrix says my primary would be Unstoppable Force in every game?

And let’s get extreme, if I played five opponents at a GT who were all take and hold armies, I’d play Unstoppable Force for all five games?

Canada - weekend private sale insurance

Hi all, I’m selling my project car and the buyer would like to pick it up this weekend if possible. Unfortunately, my insurance broker is closed and I can’t cancel til monday. I’ve read that if the bill of sale is dated Saturday and my plates are off, then I’d be protected if something happens, but I want to be sure.

Can anyone speak to this? In Ontario if it makes a difference.
