Is it safe to wear non rubber bottom shoes to a convention?

Sorry second post today on this sub. I am going to a convention this Saturday and I am cosplayinf Ralsei from DELTARUNE, who has furry feet. I have furry boots (linked here) that I got but the bottoms are soft and fuzzy. I really want to be character accurate but I’m crunching and I’m low on funds. The furry boots also are unstable and soft on the inside. So should I stick with wearing shoes or these?

How am I supposed to get this on a train across 2 state lines?

I have a convention this Saturday and I spend some time styling this wig but then I realized I have no way to bring it home with me. I am in college right now. Is there any way I could possibly get it home without having to restyle it?

Edit: I shoved it in a plastic bag, took it out, tried it back on, and it works. I have a solution now, thank you so much!
