Really needing a Comet Igniter to finish one quest. Other than that, I really like Level IV Stitchers or Rattlers, or gun mods like Comp II or Comp IIIs. I'm open to anything. I’m hoping to see if I can find a deal on a Canon 50L. There is one located a few hours from me for cheap but factoring gas and time (mainly time), it’s not super ideal. I just can’t find the time to make the drive with kids.

I recently got back into photography. I sold all my DSLR stuff around 2020, life happened with starting a family and only recently got back into things. I'm astonished at how cheap EF lenses and EOS DLSRs are now. I recently purchased a 5DII to fix up (non-working LCD) and busted out my Elan 7 from storage. Been really wanting to pick up some of my dream L lenses. Just came across the opportunity to pick up a 50L for $400.

Part of me says buy buy buy. Another part is like "why?" as I do have a Canon RP now with an RF 50mm STM. Logically, collections do not need to make sense in a utility sense. But this is still a decent amount of money for old glass and metal.

I also have random film stuff still too.

Just wondering if anyone has an EF/EOS collection going? Are we at that point in time now?

I am at 48K miles and due for spark plugs and brake pads. I’d like to do OEM for spark plugs but they’re kinda expensive. Any NGK recommendations? What’s everyone running for brake pads? OEM?

Anything else for maintenance at 48K miles?

I picked up 2025+ Elantra N wheels for my Kona N. The tires it came with are slimmer profile than my stock Kona N wheels and it’s made the wheel gap much more noticeable.

I’m finally thinking about getting lowering springs. I think Storm Comfort springs. I don’t need to be flush. I’m just not rly wanting to modify my daily much anymore. I use to have a slammed Fiesta ST and honestly it got old after a while. I much prefer the Kona N’s mini SUV ride height now, I know, I’m old.

Any other benefits to lowering springs outside of… being lower? Anyone lower their Kona N and sort of don’t enjoy it?

I was Googling an old film camera I bought way back in college for the lens. No real information on it except it lead to someone's photography blog (like their blogspot) posting about it in 2012. I read their latest blog post from just last month and they actually have a new blog as well to document their guitar learning. From the pic, they look like to be a Millennial.

It really god me thinking... I visit the same like three websites everyday. I'd love to dip back into 2000s internet and find blogs and other websites again. Anyone still Blog? Anyone read a good blog? Care to share?

My two year old is in his excavator phase. We’ve seen a few but they are of course after work hours and stationary. Was wondering if anyone knew of anywhere around the Cities where we can view big construction machines going at it? Of course from a safe distance.

I graduated last July, 2025. Realizing it’s almost been a year. I was targeting Business Analysis roles. I landed a few interviews but nothing. I already have a Master’s in a completely unrelated field and my current job is becoming unbearable so I started applying in that field and have gotten a ton of interviews.

I’m not abandoning BA roles but I really can’t get hired in them right now. It sucks. How’s everyone else doing?

I’m traveling to the Bay Area during the weekend of the 29-31st. Was wondering if there were any meets I could Uber to? Sort of like the ones I always see on YouTube. Last time I went to LA, I caught one and it was pretty neat.

I live out in the middle of nowhere Midwest so these types of meet are rare.
