Just prescribed Wellbutrin!

Hi everyone! I was just prescribed Wellbutrin today. I’ve been going through a really tough time lately with depression and anxiety, so I’m super excited to try something new. That being said, I am a bit scared to take it; it’s been a longg time since I tried a new med (I’m taking it with PROZAC). Does anyone have any tips? What can I expect the first few weeks?

Ilva’s role in Luc and Helena’s friendship?

Starting Part Two and super confused… why does Helena not like to be around Luc for too long? She mentions ilva ridiculing her later for being around him. Why is she barred from spending time with him?

Is there a difference between MLIS and MIS?

Canadian student finishing up my undergraduate in English this year. I’m wanting to go into libraries, but discovered many Canadian universities offer an MIS (Dalhousie and UofT) instead of MLIS.

Is there a major difference between the two programs? I know many MIS programs are ALA accredited; but are they still technically the same? Will employers look at them differently? So sorry if this comes across silly!

Forgot my Prozac for a week

I went away to work at a summer camp for a week and totally forgot my 60mg of Prozac. About 5 days in and I felt absolutely terrible.

- heaviness in chest
- sudden bouts of sadness
- panic attack
- lack of emotion

I’m back home now and have taken it again for two days. I still feel terrible 😞. Wondering if anyone else has been in my place??? Does anyone have a suggestions on how long I need to feel better? Tips?

Group interview for volunteering

I hate groupinterviews with a burning passion! I was offered an interview with my local library for a children’s reading mentor… only to find out it’s a group interview!

Super thankful they sent us the questions ahead of time, but the schedule also says there is an activity: Activity (Group planning and presenting)

What should I expect for this portion?? Any general tips?

The art of letting go

Stuck in a phase of my life where I simply cannot let things go. I know I struggle with my mental health, and I heard something today about letting things go before they rot you.

I’m wondering what you guys do to help free yourself from the past? The current?

OCD is literally never giving me a break

I’m being silly I know. My best friend recently told me shes had a boyfriend for two months and I was the last to know. She said she didn’t tell me at the time because I was having relationship troubles og my own and didn’t wsnt to make me feel worse (which is very kind). She suffers from OCD and I know it ate her alive that she didn’t tell me. But I’m exhausted and upset because these stupid intrusive thoughts are telling me shes lying and wanted to hurt me and leave me out of her life.

I’m so tired of this. It won’t go away and these thoughts won’t leave me alone. Hoping I’m not alone in this 😞

Best friend didnt tell me she had a boyfriend

My best friend has crazy OCD and anxiety to preface. She told me today that shes had a boyfriend for two months and was scared to tell me in the beginning because I was going through a ghosting and didnt want me to feel even worse.

And then she felt even more guilty for not telling me and this went on for a month. The only thing that makes me sad is that out other friends knew all along and were waiting for her to tell me.

Technical issues when picking seats

Hello, I’m flying out to Toronto from Heathrow on Wednesday and was hoping to pick my seats ahead of time. However every SINGLE time I have tried it keeps coming up with “technical problems come back later”.

Does this simply mean I can’t pick?

Wembley Stadium Station?

Hi guys - heading to Harry styles tomorrow and was just wondering if it’s better to get out via Wembley stadium station? I haven’t seen much about what it will be like on the train over the tube. Are there still staff there to help manage the crowd?

I SHOULD ADD: trying to get back to Kensington

“Pending” payment

Hi guys, I’’ fairly nee to the credit card world. I just recently got a TD cash back card and paid it back yesterday. However this morning I woke up alarmed because the balance is still the same (and high because I’m on vacation). When I went to look at my payment it says it is “pending”?

Wondering if this is regular? How long does it take before the payment is posted?

Worst turbulence yet

I just flew Ryanair from Budapest to Newcastle and I truly think I have had a major setback. I’m studying abroad which has really helped me do lots of exposure with my fear of flying, and up until today I was making a lot of improvement.

About 20 minutes into our descent the plane felt like it was falling. Almost like we just dropped? It was awful and terrifying. And then for the remainder of the flight the turbulence was massive and never ending. The plain was teetering left and right, constantly having that “falling sensation” and at some point I grabbed the hand of the woman next to me 😭

Feeling really shaken from this, and honestly I’m really scared again to get back on a plane.

Heading home in a week

I don’t think I can properly put into words how much I loved my time in England, five months ago I was posting on the sub talking about how TERRIFIED I was for this next portion, and now I’m leaving and I can’t describe what I’m feeling.

I’m beyond excited to see my family and my dogs lol, but resuming life in Canada just makes me feel meh. I want to be excited to be home (because I am) but I also am dreading the minute I land. Does this make sense to anyone? I was told to prepare for reverse culture shock, but I don’t know where to go from here.

Do classes at main count towards affiliate modules?

Random question, I took an English class (women writers of the 19th century) at main last semester as an English major at kings myself. When I met with my advisor back at kings to switch around classes she specifically told me NOT to drop that main class.

Does that 0.50 credit contribute to my requirements back at kings? Or will it stay as an elective?
