New to SCHD - 1st dividend received…oops

I received the first dividend on my shares of SCHD….and discovered the reinvest option was set to “No”.
As a retiree (62) is this the best way to go with this particular fund?
Or collect the cash and reinvest only on “dips”?

Is there a single decrease that is invisible?

In your experience:
Of all the possible single stitch decreases, is there one “go to” decrease that is the least obvious?

Tip Top Tank neckline help

I’m knitting the Tip Top Tank - a free pattern on Ravelry -
https://ravel.me/tip-top-tank-3
The armhole decreases and the v neck decreases begin on the same row and the end result is a very low V (reading knitters’ notes)
I was thinking I could just start the V neck - some rows later than the armholes…but will that just distort the tank top and only make the straps too wide??
Suggestions appreciated.

Rollover IRA parked in SNAXX - can I relax a bit??

Retired - 61.
It has been a long and mentally exhausting rollover process (long story - not Schwabs fault here).
Schwab sent cash into SNAXX.
I plan to research and find the right balance for a retiree, going forward.
Is SNAXX ok/best choice to sit and breathe for a bit?

Any tips to help revive my Bamboo interchangeables?

There are a few of the bamboo needles in my interchangeable set, that have lost their glide. I’ve tried the wax paper trick, but it doesn’t last long.
No other issues with them- still smooth, no splits, still straight, etc…but the sheen is gone and they just feel “dry”.

Keep the Glass Tile or Remove??

We waffle all the time, whether to remove the Glass Tiles above the range hood.
In the mornings, we talk about adding it to our project list.
In the evenings, we admire its sparkle and wonder if we will miss it. lol
Thoughts?

SGOV vs VBIL - IRA cash park

I know they are similar etfs and if tax advantages aren’t an issue…is it really just pick one choice?
They settle the same speed, etc? Am I missing anything that makes one a clear choice?

SGOV to park Cash?

Father in law has had cash sitting in his IRA - cuz it’s easier to buy and sell - but earns nothing.
Would it really be that difficult for him to park cash in something like SGOV and just sell when he needs cash to buy something?
He hasn’t bought anything in years - but he says “you never know when I might want to, so I need to be ready”

I have been practicing the Italian bind off and was ready to execute it on a cardigan project.

Problem is - my 1st stitch is a Purl (selvedge for a sewn on button band). All the tutorials I watched, say you must start with a Knit stitch, and follow the sewing rhythm I almost have memorized.

Is there a technique where I can bind off the selvedge Purl, without effecting the Knit stitch? And then I can start the Italian Bind Off? Or am I settting myself for further trouble?

Tried multiple times online to open account - rollover. Each time it brings me back to this page “We’re unable to process your rollover online at this time” Please try again later or call.

Have cleared all history and caches, tried using phone also. Same result.
When I do call…they offer to “do it for me”, but that just shakes my confidence how easy it will go.
