Is Palworld worth buying for during the Steam Sale with the 1.0 update coming soon?

Hi everyone,( Edit I just bought, and will try on Friday)
Palworld is currently on sale for around $11 on Steam, and I’ve heard that the 1.0 full release is coming soon.
For those of you who have played it recently:

Is it worth buying at this price?

Is the game fun in its current state, either solo or with friends?

Do you think the upcoming 1.0 update will make it significantly better?

Are the developers actively improving the game and listening to the community?

I’d love to hear your honest opinions before I decide to buy it. Thanks!

Is Phantom Liberty worth it if I liked the base game but didn't think it was a masterpiece?

I just finished the main story of Cyberpunk 2077. I definitely enjoyed it, but I never really understood the "masterpiece" hype around it. It was a great game, just not one that completely blew me away.

I've seen a lot of people say that Phantom Liberty is significantly better than the base game, especially in terms of the story and characters.

For those who felt the same way about the main game, did Phantom Liberty change your opinion? Is it worth buying if I wasn't completely sold on the base game's story?

Is Skyrim Still Worth Playing for the First Time in 2026? No Nostalgia Here

Hi everyone,

I've never played Skyrim before, and I'm thinking about finally giving it a try.

My biggest concern is that the game is pretty old by today's standards. I'm worried that the gameplay, graphics, or overall experience might feel too outdated and make it hard to enjoy.

Do you think Skyrim still holds up in 2026 for someone with no nostalgia for it? Or would it feel too dated for a first-time player?

I'd especially love to hear from people who played Skyrim for the first time recently. Was it easy to get into, or did its age get in the way of the experience?

Also, would you recommend starting completely vanilla, or is it better to use some mods right from the beginning? I don't want to change the core gameplay too much, but if there are must-have quality-of-life or graphics mods that make the game look and feel more modern without ruining the original experience, I'd love to hear your recommendations.

If you think mods are the way to go, which ones would you suggest for a first playthrough?

Thanks!

Is it worth starting the Dragon Age series for the first time in 2026? (old games)

Hi everyone,

I've never played any of the Dragon Age games before, and since the entire series is currently on sale, I'm thinking about buying them all.

My biggest concern is that the first games are pretty old by today's standards. I'm worried that the gameplay, graphics, or overall experience might feel too outdated and make it hard to enjoy.

Do the older games still hold up in 2026 for someone with no nostalgia for the series? Or would they feel too dated for a first-time player?

I'd love to hear your honest opinions, especially from people who played the series for the first time recently. Thanks!

Looking for a Co-Op Partner for Dead Island 2 (PC)

Hey everyone!
I’m currently about 20% through the Dead Island 2 story and I’m looking for someone to play co-op with and hopefully finish the campaign together.
I’m playing on PC, so Steam or Epic Games works fine. The game is fun, but honestly it’s getting a bit boring playing alone, and I think it would be much more enjoyable with a co-op partner.
If anyone is interested, feel free to leave a comment or send me a message. I’d really appreciate it!
Thanks!

007 First Light Might Actually Be the Best Bond Game

Yeah, I just finished the first 10 hours of 007 First Light and I gotta say… the Cinema pre-order was 100% worth it. The atmosphere, soundtrack, and cinematic missions genuinely feel like you’re inside a Bond movie instead of just playing another stealth game.
What surprised me most was how smooth the pacing is one moment you’re sneaking through a luxury casino, next thing you’re in a full-on high stakes chase scene. Also, the dialogue and character interactions are WAY better than I expected.
Curious though… what were your favorite parts so far? The stealth? Gadgets? Story twists? The music? Let’s hear it 👀

If you could start AC series, which game would begin with?

I own basically every Assassin’s Creed game in my library because when I was younger I never had the chance to buy or play them.
Now I finally can, but I honestly have no idea where to start 😅

If you were in my position and could experience the series for the first time again, which AC game would you begin with?

Should I play AC Black Flag now or wait for the Resynced/remaster?

I already own Assassin’s Creed Black Flag but somehow never got around to playing it.
Now with all the about a “resynced”/remake version, I’m not sure if I should just start the original now or wait for the newer version instead.

Does the game still hold up well today? Or would it be better to experience it fresh with updated graphics and gameplay improvements later on?
