Got my first taste of male entitlement!

Dinner: sardines

I (18F) have been working at a Tim Horton’s for about 6 months. Ever since day 1 I’ve had a suspicion one of my male coworkers is attracted to me. He’s not socially awkward but he starts blushing and smiling awkwardly when I ask him basic ass questions, gets visibly flustered when I look him in the eye, tried to strike up a conversation out of nowhere one time in the employee room but fumbled awkwardly, etc. I just mentally filed it away and focused on doing my job.

So we worked together two days ago. And he spent the whole time trying to “take charge” of me like idk my effing job. Kept checking up on my work for no reason and telling me what to do, called me out for having a drink somewhere I wasn’t supposed to, etc (mind you he is NOT a manager/supervisor, just a worker the same level as me). Just made it a point to make a lot of pointless comments I didn’t ask for and that felt more like an attempt at asserting control over me than helping me. You best believe he wouldn’t have behaved like that toward a male employee, even the newer ones. Naturally in response to his breathing down my neck I was very curt to him, like giving him a dismissive one word answer in the middle of mixing up a drink then leaving him standing there like an idiot as I went on about my business. Basically brushing him off. I’m usually very receptive and deferential and “submissive” (trying to work on that) but not that day I guess. I could tell my tone was not what he expected and it was bruising his little ego.

As soon as I made one little mistake (I accidentally made a newer drink order before the one he needed immediately) this dude lost his damn cool. Kicked me out of making drinks and took my place because I’d supposedly been “making a lot of mistakes”(NOT TRUE) and holding up the line of customers (he was berating me in front of customers). I calmly tried to reason with him but he wouldn’t budge like a pouting petulant toddler. It wasn’t that deep!

He stayed soooo pissed at me EVEN AFTER kicking me out of my station. Raised his voice at me at the first opportunity :)

When he clocked out I reclaimed my station and discovered he had thrown out the rest of my matcha drink that I had set aside… so petty!

Why do I feel like his whole outburst had less to do with me making the wrong drink than with his weird frustrations that he couldn’t boss around a girl he is obviously attracted to?? Why do men?

Would you pay for sex if he’s smoking hot?

I know hookups are easy to come by but the average guy on Grindr is just that, average and not exactly a head turner. So would you be willing to pay for looks? Times are hard and I’m thinking about pimping out my husband (he’s on board) but I’m wondering about the profitability of prostitution in gay circles. He’s 24, gets hit on every time we hit up the bars and he was scouted to model for an adult film studio years ago but refused.

Flirting on the job

I have a customer late 40s who’s been hitting up my auto shop over the past couple months. Nice enough guy, but the whole crew can tell he’s taken a liking to one of my younger mechanics. Comes in with a different expensive car every other week, asks for him by name and will wait on him if he’s unavailable. Tips excessively. A lot of the time it feels like he’s looking for reasons to bring something in.

Last week the mechanic was working under his car. Gets up off the floor all red in the face from working in the heat and the customer tells him something like “You oughta blush more often.”

The other guys have been giving the kid hell about his “sugar daddy”. At what point do I step in as the owner?

Found out my husband has been driving 100 km every weekend to meet up with a college guy

Where do I even start… My husband and I (both 30) have been together for 10 years, married for 3. About 6 months ago, we had a talk after I found some poorly concealed viagra in his stuff. He chalked up the need for a pill to his “performance anxiety” (which he had never brought up before). Not too long after that, he pitched an open relationship because he said his performance anxiety comes from a fear of disappointing the man he loves (me) and fooling around with randos would boost his confidence.

Doesn’t sound too convincing in hindsight but in the moment, although I was surprised, I did say yes (100% for his sake as I personally have zero interest in extramarital sexual encounters).

After opening up the relationship there was definitely a sexual reawakening on his end in bed, though a voice in my head did wonder how much of it was just him picturing that I was one of his younger, hotter fuck buddies…

Anyway, fast forward to today. I had to borrow his car and I noticed that he had racked up a ton of mileage in a couple months, im talking at least 2500 miles. He had started disappearing over the weekends but that was supposedly because he started working weekend shifts. Still thought the mileage didn’t add up so I filed it away and went investigating. Well I know the password to his phone and it didn’t take long to find a months-long text exchange on Instagram with this young Tom Daley-looking guy located in a small college town about an hour away. From their messages they’ve been together a lot… “you arriving soon daddy?” says he to my husband.
This was the most glaring text exchange I found but he had several other ones scattered across grindr, sniffies, tinder, any app you can think of, with more college aged guys. About 90% of them had blond hair by the way, which I thought stood out. My husband (then boyfriend) did cheat on me back in college, and now that I think about it his pick did have blond hair. Seems to be a recurring theme.

I know I agreed to an open relationship; indefinitely is not what’s rubbing me the wrong way here. But it’s hard not to feel like shit when your husband is this hung up on this college twink that he’s driving 2 hours round trip several weekends in a row to get his “fix”, meanwhile he needs to take a fucking pill to fuck you. There’s also the lying about where he’s been spending his weekends so… yeah. I don’t even know anymore. I feel like I’ve aged out of my husband’s type or something, and I’m only 30.

Husband won’t have sex under his parents’ roof

My husband (27) and I (30) are staying over at his parents. We’ve been staying in the guest bedroom which sits in its own private wing of the house yet he says he feels “weird” about having sex. It’s been two weeks and I’ve only managed to fuck him one time and even then he insisted I use a condom and then flush it down the toilet.

I do recall as high schoolers he did have his qualms about sex under his parents’ roof but we moved in together quickly for college so it never really became an issue big enough to discuss.
Right now though I realize how unused I am to lying next to my husband without having free access. I miss his ass and can’t understand why he’s so uptight about sex all of a sudden. It’s not like he comes from a religious family or anything. He’s spent the night at my parents’ house countless times and I’ve never had the slightest qualm about fucking him in that context. Is his reaction normal?
