There is always gaps in the same place in my work, between row 1 and 2 (Amigurumi)

I always only get these gaps in row two. For example, 6SC in a MR, INC x6. Please check both photos to see my work doesn't have holes in other places. Does anyone know what this is about?

Edit: edit to add if you see anything else I can improve on my work please point it out

I got gifted weird yarns, unsure how to work with them/what to make

My big sister bless her send me these for my birthday from Australia!!! I like them but I've never used anything like this. Packaging doesn't say size or material.

SO what should I make? I've been really into amigurumi lately, do you think I could make a cute dragon because the right hand side one is giving me dragon vibes. Any suggestions, ideas or guidance welcome.

Imaging at week 10. Life is nothing now but waiting.

31F, TNBC stage 2 grade 3. This is week 10 of 12 weekly Taxol/Carboplatin (neo adjuvant).

This week (Friday) I'm getting imaging to see how everything is looking. Even I can tell the tumour has shrank. And the oncologist said so too. I guess I'm hopeful I won't have to do the 4 AC rounds after this and can just move straight to surgery... but I was told not to set my heart on that idea.

My side effects have been manageable, mostly involve a low grade flu feeling sometimes, sleeping a lot during the day and not letting a toilet out of my sight. And nausea. My hair has stayed on. I've been pretty lucky.

I'm just feeling depressed and struggling to find the motivation to do anything at all... when I first started I was crocheting, gaming, reading, cooking well, having a grand old time mostly with not having to go to work. The joy in all of that is gone. I feel like I spend most of the week in bed, sleeping, stare at the window until its time to eat and wait for the next infusion. Its so isolating. Its not even sadness. Its just a feeling of "nothing" and waiting, waiting to start living my life again, just limbo and uncertainty.

I'm a likely candidate for BRCA as its in the family. But apparently that testing is gonna take weeks and put a hold on everything. If they told me hey come and get the surgery tomorrow, I would. Just take everything away from me and let me start healing.

I know, a lot of people have it worse than me and it hasn't even been that long since my diagnosis. Anyway I'd love to hear from people who had similar diagnosis and treatment to me. Success stories and struggles and setbacks. Side effects, mental health struggles and tips, and the journey of your treatment. I'd be delighted if you shared anything. I want to feel less alone.

Did anyone else hate Patty ever since this moment?

Seriously? How selfish can you be, ask a bunch of people to commit to your far fetched Japanese High School fantasy moment and then just act like a disrespectful child when Kagami comes from the blue and offers to do all of the heavy lifting? This scene annoys me so much! It makes Patty irredeemable, sorry.

What's the reference in this scene?

Been watching this anime since like 2008. Everytime i rewatch, i understand more of the references. But theres this bit in episode 16, some guys come up and try to take pictures of Tsukasa on the street. This anime is so full of references and I feel like this is one that went over my head all these years. Any ideas?

I asked my coworker what she made for lunch and she tried to share it with me. Embarrassed

I (socially awkward) (29f) asked my retail coworker (22f) what she brought for lunch today because I learned people usually like to talk about food and its a great avenue for conversation. For a little more background I am Irish and she is from India. She told me what it was and I told her it sounds delicious and she must be a talented cook. It was just a small talk to get to know her better.

To my horror, when her lunch was over it was my turn to go afterwards and SHE HAD SAVED ME HALF HER LUNCH AND TRIED TO GIVE IT TO ME. I was really embarrassed, mortified, she is younger than me and my junior at work which makes it so much worse. I think she thought I was hinting that I didn't have anything to eat and she could share. I was really embarrassed, mortified already and I didn't want to make the situation even more awkward so I did something crazy and actually took it and said thank you 😞 because she seemed happy to give it to me it felt so rude to turn it down and her lunch was already over. I'm mortified.

What would you have done/what will you do in this situation is you're me. and B. Did it come across like I was asking for her food? She is really kind and a great person to talk to. I'm planning on buying lunch for her next time I see her. Or make something for her. Would this start a whole weird thing I that don't really want to be involved in?

This whole thing took place in our workplace in Ireland I assure you an Irish person, even a close friend, has never done this. Yes I have friends from other countries who have shared food before but never quite so pathetic as this. I think I made a cultural faux pas of some kind on top of everything. HELP

Stage 2 TNBC, 3 days from first infusion (and crippled)

Hi everyone, I'm getting neo adjuvant TC weekly for 12 weeks then 4 ACs over 8 weeks following that. Then on to surgery I guess.

Had the first TC on Friday and I did NOT expect to be totally wiped out from go. First I had terrible pelvic pain with constipation preventing me from sleeping, that's cleared up now since today, but the fatigue has me crippled, and I have to do it all again on Friday. I manage one walk a day then it's bed and food and naps all day, then sleep all night. Temperature and hydration are all fine.

Is there any way up or is it all down from here. It can only get worse as I understand? Can I really do this for 12 weeks and then move up to AC? I dont know, and is this typical? What was your experience like?

I appreciate all of the people here, going through this together and supporting one another.
