Hi, the security system which doesn't seem to be a regular part of the use of the car has come on and it won't let the car start. Is this something I can fix by replacing the BCM? And how hard is that?

Hi, I got a p440 code the day before, cleared it and got home but the next morning the car would turn over and ignite once and the just turn over. Up to now totally fine (for the age)
My mechanic says the evap issue shouldn't affect starting but of course there's a relationship with fuel tank and pump. I tested fuel pressure and pump starting and both seem fine.
New battery this year, full tune up late fall, tested purge valve with charge and seems fine, tested vent valve and it might be what set the 440 code, (also my gas cap should be replaced)
(I would bring to mechanic but since can't start not sure how I'll get it out of my narrow driveway yet, but the trip is asap. This morning's task)

Hi, 2001 Chevy Astro, was fine (for its age) until I got a p0440 which didn't affect driving until this morning when it would turn over, fire up and immediately stall, while it will still turn over.
I had this issue a year ago related to ignition switch and "security" issue, the ignition switch fixed it though I still have the security issue.
I got the code a year ago and cleared with OTC and it didn't cause new issues until now. Are they related or is it coincidence?
New battery in Feb, full tune up in October. Need new muffler, related? Needed one for months now, just left it because it wasn't bad and I needed to spend a bunch of money on brake repairs.

Hi, maybe these are separate issues, I got the code yesterday and drove home on it. I even cleared it, I had the same code a year ago and cleared it and never saw it again until now.
I get in this morning and there's the cel, and the car won't start. Turns over fine, fires up fine and dies, after that just the starter. I tried again 5 or so hours later and same thing.
New battery this winter, full tune up in the fall. The gas cap is kinda old looking but what else should I be looking for? My preferred mech is on vacation I think.

Running out of space on my PC, windows 11. In fact today it was way more than 1g, in the morning it was 18g and now it's 13. Nothing new gets installed on this drive, I have other drives. It's only windows and core apps (nothing big). I also use Edge for some reason.
I deleted a ton of stuff off the other day and that really just gave me back to 30g, (just enough the indicator wasn't Red, now it's definitely red)
