I’ve waited over a week and Empower didn’t even include my fucking meds

To say I am livid would be an understatement. They’re a pharmacy and they had 1 job. They sent syringes, all the paperwork, ice packs in the cooler & zero meds. I already contacted preventivemd but I don’t understand how you manage to fuck this up, especially after a long wait time. I’m ready to bail.

ETA/UPDATE Wow, they already got back to me. And yep, it was in the paper! Super impressed with PreventiveMD customer care & that they’re sending a note to empower about the odd packaging. I am leaving this up solely in case someone else has a similar experience and accidentally throws their meds away! I thought the meds were in the envelope based on the wording!!

Nick Reiner Blocked from $1.5M Trust Fund Due to ‘Slayer Statute’ as He Faces Murder Charges for Parents’ Killings

* Nick Reiner’s request to access his trust fund to cover court fees and commissary items has been blocked.

* Trustees cited California’s “slayer statute” while denying the request, stating that criminal proceedings will decide the fate of the money.

* Nick was recently indicted on murder charges in connection with the December 2025 killings of his parents, Rob Reiner and Michele Singer Reiner, who established the trust fund.

Product Rec: Riemann P20 Sunscreen

So, this is the latest sunscreen I have tried. It is European. I don’t really have many dark spots, a couple freckles but I don’t want more. I am loving this sunscreen. Great texture and can be worn under makeup, no problem. I haven’t used it long enough to tell you whether I think it does visibly reduce dark spots over time but that’s the claim. Anyway, I definitely recommend it if you’re after a good EU sunscreen!

Note: yes, it has niacinimide. FYI.

Retinol burn help

Ugh. I’ve been using retin-A for a few months and my face is fine but my neck is burned. I used the left overs on my fingers on my neck and chest but for the first time, this happened. I put on LRP b5 cicaplast baume to try to sooth it but is there anything else I can do for it? It is so uncomfortable.

Who remembers this ride?

I remember people regularly getting sick on it. Lol. I’d actually like to go on one now to see if it’s as cool as it was back then.

I’m in love with Physician’s Choice for a fiber supplement

I hate 99% of drink additives because they taste terrible or they’re gritty or they just generally ruin whatever. I tried this one and it is like magic. I put in it ½ a bottle of water (8oz) shook it up and absolutely zero taste, zero change of texture, it was still my normal Hint Water. I would highly recommend it if you have texture issues/are very finicky.

It is the “Easy Mix Fiber.”

How are you guys actually getting 195g of protein?

This seems like a complete pipe dream for me. I’m struggling to manage 130g. I have food issues in terms of textures and not being a big meat eater as it is. I cannot stand cottage cheese so don’t even suggest that one because no way; that stuff is vile.

I know eggs and Greek yogurt are high protein. I already do oikos protein shakes. In fairness, I don’t eat a high amount of carbs and my fat consumption is also on the lower side of things but I’m not a big eater. I only eat about 1100-1200 calories per day. I’m female, 5’9”.

Warning about Encube Ethical vaginal estrogen (it’s horrible!)

It burns like hell and for some, has caused bladder issues. TelyRx and Amazon have both recently started carrying it and a couple people have said their local pharmacies are carrying it. It is absolutely terrible! I am so angry about this as they sent 3 tubes of it that I cannot use. Be careful if you’ve received that brand as well.

Is it possible to buy a specific brand of estrogen cream?

I use TelyRx (open to other providers) and initially, I was thrilled with it. Estrogen cream was always Padagis brand.

Well, this last time they sent estrogen from Encube Ethicals and *it is absolutely terrible*!!! I have horrific itching when I use it. It is for certain their brand because I have 1 tube of my old cream and have zero issues using it.

I have already contacted TelyRx but in the event they can’t or won’t help, what do I do? I have no problem paying out of pocket but I can’t afford the awful hit/miss like this. I have googled it already but I’m not seeing anyway to just buy the one I specifically want. Thank you for any help!

Prequel multi acid milk peel - is mine bad?

I bought this on a whim because I’ve been trying to get softer skin on my body & this was a step up from my 10% lotion. I know it’s a dermatologist who is essentially the face of it. In her video she said it would be a bit spicy.

I applied it after a shower and save for thinking it felt a bit sticky, I felt nothing. Granted, I do take good care of my skin but I was expecting to feel something. Is this normal? It is definitely milky looking but I don’t see any oxidation, no bad scent or other signs it is bad. Just wondering if anyone else doesn’t feel anything with this. I do feel the acid in the 10% Paula’s Choice lotion.

How to get rid of this texture?

I currently use The Inkey List’s Glycolic stick or Paula’s Choice AHA body lotion. I also use the Topicals Faded soap in the shower. Will this stuff do it or should I add something else? Thank you.

Reaction to TO Retinal?

I am used to retinol & until last night, I was using Murad. I tried TO’s Retinal and woke up with these red spots. Reaction or just “one of those things?” It doesn’t itch or anything.

My sheets are clean (also put on yesterday) and I’ve not done anything else differently. Thank you.

Do you reapply sun cream even if you aren’t going outside?

Just curious if you reapply every 2 hours at home or only if you’re getting direct sun exposure.

Has anyone else used SeoulCeuticals Vitamin C serum?

I haven’t been using it for all that long, only about a week. I was wondering what you guys think of it. I have been using it along with ColorScience Pep Up, which is something my dermatologist recommended to me. He actually suggested Skinceuticals Vit C but after spending nearly $200 on Pep Up and already having extremely high beauty expenses, I was trying to find a less expensive option.

I know vitamin c basically starts to die once it has been exposed to air but I won’t lie; this stuff was cheap enough that even if I have to replace the bottle before it’s gone it seems like it may still be cheaper. I really just want my skincare to be effective.

I do have a full routine. I’m just curious about the specific product.

Is anyone else a singer?

I am not a professional anymore but I sang in professional children’s choirs and did some really cool stuff. I still sing just because I’ve found that it really keeps my mood up and I’m always learning new things. I write and always try to get better.

Unfortunately, peri has made me have to kind of re-learn how to use my voice and it is so frustrating. I can no longer hit my high soprano notes and I sound super breathy when I sing lower. I was recently treated for high blood pressure and as insane as this sounds, I think the high blood pressure and pressure in my head was actually making me hear my music better. Like I was able to hear nuances that I simply cannot hear when it is under control. Has anyone else experienced this? How did you deal with vocal changes and just not feeling like you’re as strong a singer?

I still sing nearly every day so that my muscles stay tuned even if I only manage to do one or two songs but it is hard not to get down on myself sometimes. :( Is there anything peri doesn’t touch?!

What would (will?) Grumpy Old Men look like if it featured men from our generation?

I know Grumpy Old Men & Grumpier Old Men weren’t kid movies, but they were pretty popular in the 90s. I’ve been watching them today and it got me thinking, what would they grump and fight about if they were millennial old men?
