Will I lose my Nintendo points if I use a Revolution DS?

Will I lose my Nintendo points if I use a Revolution DS?

My friend let me borrow the new n5 revolution DS but I'm still wondering if it's a good idea.

I almost got enough points to get a stylus and don't want to risk it, any advice?

FatmaVision - The all-seeing screen mirroring app for Linux handhelds

Ever wanted to stream and capture your session without the hassle of connecting a capture card or an HDMI cable?

Ever wanted to game on the couch but still needed to capture your session somehow?

FatmaVision has granted all your wishes!

A windows side client that installs and sets up your Linux handheld screen mirroring protocol over Wi-Fi/SSH, in a single click.

Captures are recorded in MKV file format and stored in the same folder as the executable.

Tested on KNULLI and rg40xxv but it should work on all Linux handhelds with SSH and Wi-Fi capabilities if you follow the initial setup steps correctly.

Link to the repo: https://github.com/DigiAlchemydsp/FatmaVision-Release

Feel free to report any issues or submit any feature requests on the git repo, I plan to keep working on this project and improving it as much as I can.

Honest question - What is everyone doing with their jb tool/luckfox pico

I was wondering what you guys do with your jb tool, if you ever bought one before PSVue and BD-jb discs were around?

Is it sitting in a drawer somewhere with the rest of your doohickeys?

I'm into making music so I wrote a little headless FX unit/synthesizer for it to make it act as a midi/audio USB gadget device, it shows up as an audio interface and I can just play it with my controller and record the audio output.

I'll eventually make the GitHub repo public if anyone is interested.

Any other ideas are welcome :)

Amyboard - Syn:VOW

Sharing my amyboard vowel synth with the community, it's still at the alpha stage as I still need to refine some elements before a full release.

https://github.com/DigiAlchemydsp/Syn-K7-VOW

The repo has all the flashing instructions for your AMYboard as well as a short user manual.

I went with 4 independent channels of morphable wavetables + resonant filters + oversampled wavefolding that run into a shared master limiter.

Switched on AFX

We all know and love the moog switched on Bach series, what about switched on AFX?

All sounds from Digitone and my custom handmade artisan patches.

I'll just leave this here

Got a bit bored with my m8 headless so I coded and flashed my teensy with a 4 channel multitimbral wavetable synth with swarm oscillators and 46 morphable waveforms

RG40xxv doing the midi and audio routing so I can send a sequence to my other gear as well as control everything from my digis and get sound to output where I want it, including the anbernic speaker

I just loaded it with the sickest AFX and autechre midi files :)

Digitakt // Digitone mk1 - Revive project

Cross-posting from my recent Elektronauts post

Elektronauts!

Big time elektron head and amateur hobbyist electronics, I started prototyping a little “expander” for our old digi boxes simply because I am getting sick of waiting for updates and features to be included or implemented.

Without saying too much, I intend to improve on some of the features, add machines (currently porting monomachines VO), Midi/audio routing, macros, mod matrix, FX, an extra screen with a streamlined UI, 6-OP FM loads DX7 patches, VA, Wavetables, Parials/Additive, PCM samples from sd etc…

Have you ever dreamt of sending/receiving CV from your Digitakt? A sampler machine for your Digitone? More algo? Better slicing?

I’m trying to keep the architecture and signal flow modular and optimized for the hardware I’m prototyping with, on that note the TBD-16 that was just announced uses very similar components and architecture, just saying

Think of it like an m8 headless but not a tracker, taylored UI for easy navigation (incl. midi navigation buttons from your digi, simple wasd yes/no), portability, bring your own screen…

The end goal for me is to design and actually make my own music hardware, but also make it as accessible and open as a platform or eco-system can be.

Of course I am including all the famous open source modules/engines like braids/macro osc and more…

This way you can make music on your doom machine

Would you be interested in a project like this? Should I continue designing and tailoring the eco-system?

It is going to be similar to the megaComand (it can run it) but in a different form factor, I’m thinking a little hat for our digis that would intercept power and usb and can also maybe power the whole battlestation.

Modular peeps, would you like a gameboy formfactor I/O monitoring and CV toolbox?

Very Horny and Tight Synth-Brass, seemingly common in 80s era disco.

Morgana - Ready For Love (You can hear it immediately)
https://youtu.be/6KxdWiEma7A?si=rV9zsdwjbpBM2t5b

Baltimora - Tarzan Boy (First heard at 0:58 and obviously throughout the song)
https://youtu.be/2-vdCfNr9Ks?si=64sNtKFOtuOdIseA

Fantasy - I Just Want To Get Your Lovin’ (First heard at 0:17)
https://youtu.be/y3OnHoWuo1s?si=1G8-jG59mCOTwlpl

Solid Strangers - Gimme The Light (you can hear it immediately, and to me there’s maybe samples involved.)
https://youtu.be/qf-\_dhLrSV0?si=RjzegmiDxF011Krk

There are many more examples but this is all I think of.

I think it might be FM Synthesis at work (most likely the Yamaha DX7) perhaps with some layering with other synthesizers, but I can’t tell.

I have a midi

I made it myself, NSFW because knobs touching.

As a harmonica player, what are the plugins that I can use to play clarinet sounds? Preferably I need a plugin with only 3 knobs. Thx

Do I need another midi?

Also how do I get sound from my midi?

So many questions as I'm about to start my journey and delve into the beautiful world of clarinet synthesis this is exciting!

Should I get a modular midi or a moog next? I want them all
