Rapido Driver Looking for Love. 31 M I 6’1 ft.

Hi. So, as I mentioned, I’m currently unemployed and, for the time being, I drive for Rapido. I come from a humble background, and life has thrown a few curveballs my way. I’ve had my share of ups and downs, and I’m still figuring things out, one step at a time.I did complete my graduation though.

For the longest time, I wasn’t really sure about putting myself out there or looking for a partner. I felt like I should first become financially stable, have everything figured out, and then think about relationships.

But life doesn’t always work that way.

So, here I am, giving it a shot. I may find someone, I may not. I might meet someone wonderful, or this post might disappear into the Reddit void. Either way, I’d rather try than wonder what could have happened.

I’m from Hyderabad. I’m ambivert by nature. 31 M , Height 6’1 ft. I’m working towards building something meaningful for myself. I do have a graduation degree and a few other things going on, which I’ll probably talk about later. For now, I’d rather not turn this into a résumé.

A little about me outside of all that: I read quite a bit, both fiction and non-fiction. I enjoy long walks, meditation, movies, and having unnecessarily long conversations about movies after watching them.

I like conversations that actually go somewhere, whether it’s about life, books, films, ideas, or just something completely random.I do write as well.

That’s me, honestly. No particularly polished version of myself, no pretending that I have everything figured out. Just where I am right now, and where I’m trying to get to.

As for you, I’m not looking for someone with a perfect life or a perfectly curated profile. I’d just like to know you, have a genuine conversation, and see where it goes.

So, if any of this resonates with you, say hi. Let’s talk.

31M, 6’2 Ft - Life is Hard. Choose to Make It Harder.

Most dating profiles open with the highlight reel. Best photos, best traits, best angles. Then six months in, entropy kicks in.

You can’t argue with the laws of physics.

So Iam just saving everyone some time. Here’s the inverse: reasons you probably shouldn’t date me. If you still message me after this, that’s on you.
Let’s begin.

A surprising number of people think I’m arrogant at first. Apparently I give off “this guy knows it all” energy. In reality I’m just confident, curious, and opinionated. I love a good debate, I love learning even more, and I have zero problem admitting when I’m wrong or going against the grain. But first impressions and I aren’t exactly best friends.

My career is… confusing. Ask what I actually do and my answer somehow ends up longer than the question. Even people close to me struggle to explain it. Tech, international relations, AI, politics, law, business. Take your pick.

My relationship with risk is questionable too. I walked away from a high paying career, dropped out of college at nineteen to build companies, and eventually came back to finish my law degree. Stability and I acknowledge each other’s existence from a respectful distance.

I travel. A lot. Twenty odd countries so far ( Native of Hyderabad and a Hindu) , and Iam always finding a reason to make it twenty one.
I’m ambitious to the point where work forgets to clock out. I genuinely like building things, solving hard problems, and chasing ideas that sound mildly unreasonable on paper.

Iam also ridiculously guarded. Trust takes time. I don’t emotionally speedrun relationships. If we click, great. If not, no hard feelings.

High energy, calm, mildly chaotic. My desk looks like three different projects declared war on each other, and somehow I still know where everything is.
Mostly.

I don’t see the world in black and white. I ask too many questions, poke at assumptions, and refuse to accept “that’s just how it’s always been” as an answer. Morally grey, and completely at peace with it.

Here’s the catch, though. Once you’re in, you’re in. I keep my word, fiercely, and I’m protective without being controlling. I remember the little things, show up when it matters, cheer loudest for your wins, and stand beside you when life gets unnecessarily creative.

Hobbies: travel (, reading, movies, writing, Chess, public speaking, trekking, hiking, long walks, learning random things nobody asked about, and competitive shooting. Curiosity is easily my most expensive one.
I don’t drink, smoke, or do drugs. Don’t need to. I run on a natural high.

So, if you’ve read all of this and thought, “he sounds like a walking red flag, but one with excellent taste, questionable judgment, and a decent sense of humor,” go ahead.

Message me.

I did warn you.

31M | 6’2 ft | Apparently, here’s why dating me is probably a bad idea.

I travel. A lot. Twenty odd countries so far, and Iam always finding a reason to make it twenty one.

Hobbies: travel, reading, movies, writing, Chess, public speaking, trekking, hiking, long walks, learning random things nobody asked about, and competitive shooting.

21 F,31M, . How do I handle this situation?

About a year ago, I met an MBBS student at a conference where I was giving a talk (Iam a tech entrepreneur). She had reached out because she needed some guidance, and since many of my close friends and cousins are doctors, I connected her with people who could help.

After that, we happened to meet again at another event, and since then she’s been very persistent about staying in touch. Over the past year, she’s regularly texted me, asked me out multiple times, and it’s become pretty clear that she likes me.
She’s genuinely a nice person and very pretty.
A while ago, she told me that her father had to undergo a surgery.

She was understandably going through a difficult time. Until then, I had politely turned down her invitations, mostly because I was uncomfortable with the age gap. But seeing how upset she was, I thought I’d do something kind to cheer her up. I told her I’d take her out for a movie.

The moment I said that, I could literally see her mood change. We went for the movie, had a good time, and that was it.

The problem is that I don’t have romantic feelings for her. I’m single, so it’s not that I’m seeing someone else. I just don’t see her that way. At the same time, I get the feeling that she’s become even more emotionally invested, and I don’t want to unintentionally lead her on.

How can I handle this without hurting her unnecessarily or giving mixed signals?
