no signature or maker on the bottom. purchased at a thrift store a couple years back in nevada. ceramic like
Im familiar with the other piece. don’t think these would’ve originally gone together, but they did fit well
over the last 15 years i’ve acquired a ton of unique ephemera and i have just started selling it in my established antique booth. i am having trouble finding the best way to display it/organize it. anyone have any racks or display pieces that work particularly well? currently it’s in crates/magazine racks but i don’t love the look/it looks disorganized. parts of me is thinking about sourcing something akin to my photo and labeling the drawers. i don’t mind if it’s hidden. thank you for any advice/experience you can offer
as the title states, I’m interested in finding places that have a focus on folk or locally made art. I’m also interested in locally made jewelry, professional art, etc. Definitely be interested to hear of any place you stopped at that sounds like this
have a few i’ve been debating but was hoping to get some more info about them.
the first (pics 1-3) one is a painting on silk
the second and third set (4/5 and 6/7 are two separate) are woodblock prints
the last one is a large bali landscape - was curious if this is more of a listed artist or more tourist decor?
thank you so much for any help you can provide
my gut instinct is this is some kind of decor style but i’m not confident. i could not attend the auction viewing so i wasn’t able to get a picture of the sticker on the back. found near sacramento but someone’s been consigning a lot of asian/indian style art to this particular auction house the last couple months
it was very difficult to get a picture of the signature, but can try in different lighting tomorrow. I think it’s a P and then I’m not sure what the next two letters are
as the title states! i appreciate any help. next step will be opening the other one
I’ve been unable to figure out who these were made by. Done a lot of reverse image searching and followed some leads, but still haven’t come up with anything. There’s nothing on the back of either of them, but I can tell there is possibly a signature on one of them. Before I opened them up, I wanted to see if anyone had any ideas
she said she would have found this on the west coast. most likely between utah/nevada/arizona. she’s about 93 so her memory ain’t what it was. thank you for any help you can offer.
seems porous. quite heavy guessing at least 5+lbs. can weigh if necessary
roughly 10x6x3 inches
is it anything or Just Another Rock?
