I am preparing to submit my Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) application along with my dependant.
Since we are applying together, I wanted to double-check how the biometric appointment process works. Do we all go to the UKVCAS centre together under a single family booking, or does every single person need their own separate appointment slot?
If they have to be booked separately, is it easy to align the times so we can travel to the centre together?
Any insights or recent experiences with family ILR biometrics would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

A couple of quick questions for those who have gone through this recently:
**How quickly after clicking submit can you actually get an appointment?** Is it possible to book and go on the exact same day, or is the absolute earliest usually the next day?
**Any tips for grabbing standard priority or fast-track slots?** What time of night/day do new appointments usually drop or refresh on the portal?

Any advice on system refresh times or shortcuts to get seen quickly would be amazing.

I am currently in the UK as a dependent on a Skilled Worker visa, and my partner and I will soon be eligible to apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR).
For those whose partners had their ILR fees covered by their sponsoring employer, did the company also pay the application fees for you as the dependent? Or did you have to cover the dependent costs out of pocket?
We know company policies vary a lot, but we are trying to figure out what is standard practice before my partner approaches their HR team to ask.
If the company did cover your fees as a dependent, did they attach any clawback clauses to your portion (e.g., your partner having to repay it if they leave the company within a year or two)?

I just had a quick question, is it possible to get next day appointments after we submit the application?

I ask as my timelines are quite tight.

I am eligible to apply on 13th OCt and my visa expires 15th Oct.

And also my job requires a lot of travel too. So I will looking for priority appointment. Getting next day appointment will definitely help me in this case.

This really saves a significant time, if doing manually for 10 or more customers.

All our Visas: SWV, SKW dependent expire on 15th Oct 2026, we are eligible to apply for ILR on12th October, our son who is born in UK, his visa will expire on 15th October as well. But we plan to apply for his MN1, is it fine while we wait for our ILR and his visa expires and then we apply for his MN1 ?

Back in 2021 we have got our English evaluated through ECCTIS, during the ILR application do we need to submit the certificate again ?
Or it isn’t needed as we provided it during the SWV application.

I have multiple pensions with different companies, should I be bringing them all together?
