Server question

I’m working an event where the place isn’t allowing for substitutions/modifications on the menu(like removing lettuce, tomato etc) It says that on the menu but people still ask. What’s a good way I can tell people that without them getting upset?

Also, they want us to get a card to start a tab. How can I tell people that in an assertive way, because most people say no.

How to deal with difficult guests at events

I started working security at events & obviously people aren’t allowed to bring in some things. The trouble comes when we tell them they can’t bring it in.

What are some ways to handle difficult guests? What can i say to people that are cursing, throwing things, being disrespectful? Some people insult me over my size(which hurts because I’ve been losing weight).

They still want us to be respectful & they aren’t quick to throw people out for that behavior.

So far I have “if you would to speak to me with respect, we can continue this conversation.” But that doesn’t really help when there’s an issue.

Neighbor complains about grass clippings

Backstory-the house across from me & next to me is owned by a couple in their 50’s, his mother used to live in the house next to me, now his son & DIL live in it now, but the 50 year old has the house in his name.

I have a guy that comes and mows every 2 weeks(so the grass doesn’t get tall). When he mows he goes up & down so the lawn has those stripes(which I like). Every time he comes to mow, the 50 year old comes out and chews him out for blowing clippings onto the son & DIL yard. He says he spends a lot of money to keep their yards looking nice & doesn’t want the clippings. I don’t see how that much grass can be blowing onto their yard & the younger couple have never complained about it once.

I sat on my porch yesterday and watch the 50 year old mow his son’s yard and I didn’t see any clippings get blown my way, but he did trim and use a leaf blower to clean off the driveway.

The mower is getting irritated with how the neighbor speaks to him & I don’t blame him. He’s scared off some mowers in the past but I would really like to keep this one.
I feel like this is a petty issue.

He’s honestly making me feel like I’m trash and not good enough. I spend money also to keep my yard looking nice.

What can I say or how can I handle this? I was angry the other day I went inside because I wasn’t going to be nice if I spoke to him & didn’t want everyone seeing me cursing/yelling.

What is this and how do I fix it?

Under the kitchen sink part of the bottom is sloping down and I saw this today. What do I need to do to fix it?
