I am wanting to use Magento's default 2FA for my Admin and for some reason it is not listed under Stores>Configuration>Security as it sould be. Is there a way I can get it enabled to show up so I can get it setup. I have seen it listed there before, now it has disapeared.
The only thing I can think of is some time in the past I installed Two-Factor Auth from Mageplaza and maybe that disabled it, idk.
Running 2.4.7 and have noticed when going to the Advanced Pricing page the "Special Price From" Calenders do not display when you click on the smaller calenders in the fields. I am having to manually enter the date in both fields. In my previous versions there use to be the pop ups where you can click the dates. Anyone have a fix or sugeestion for this
We sell poducts on our website, Amazon, Ebay that we offer word.doc templates. Those templates can be downloaded from our website. However those that purchase the products from Amazon and Ebay have no way of getting the templates and we are not able to email them those files. I was considering on printing QR Codes and applying them to the products before we ship them.
I would like to try and figure a way to get the best QR Code generator where they could either download the file/template for each product are where they can be taken to the matching product page. Any suggestions on this process. Of course I would like to find a free QR Code generator or a very cheap one where I can track the traffic
Anyone tried upgrading from 2.4.7p4 to 2.4.9 and had success doing so? Or should I just do a fresh 2.4.9 install and import everything over with Products, Categories, Order, Customers, etc. Looking for the fastest and easiest process. If importing everything how accurate and effective would it be?
So many have suggested using Cloudflare instead or Google reCAPTCHA or using them together. I am currently using the Mageplaza reCAPTCHA extension and may disable it and use the Default Magento 2.4.7 Goggle reCAPTCHA. My question is how and where do you go about getting and installing Cloudflare. Some say its free and others have mentioned you need to pay for it. Is it an extension you need to install via command or is it something on the server side. I need to get something in place that is dependable to stop these Card Testing hitting my site so much. It's so bad I had to disable credit cards as mentioned in a previous post. I was also suggested about setting up 3D secure rules which this is something I need to figure out as well. I am losing sales and need this fixed. The minute I enable Credit Cards the testing starts by the dozens non stop. Its just a matter of time before Braintree blocks me if I dont get this fixed.
Not to mention this current attack that we got hit with a couple of days ago. I need to setup Cloudflare rules to help block it as well until a patch is available
I need to change my bank account on my seller account. Amazon seller account is the only one left I need to change to. I have successfully changed all my other marketplace accounts with no issues and been holding off doing so with Amazon because of all the stories I have heard where other accounts were deactivated for just changing.
I am a little concerned of the same thing happening to us. We have a pretting good balance sitting in our account and surely cannot afford to lose that plus losing an account that we count on to keep our business open.
Can others give me an insight on their experiences in doing so

I am a very small company with a very low budget using Magento for the past several years and have been on the fence to make the switch to Shopify. Trying to keep up with all the Updates and security patches because of security issues is time consuming and very low resources. I have been trying to keep up myself without a developer for the past four years, the best I can and has been overwhelming. I am past due now for an update now facing some security issues.
Having said that I have been on a trial and testing Shopify for the past few months with a Template I found to be suitable. I am about two thirds done with the setup and need to make a final decision before going any further because I am a point I need to pay for the theme and start paying Shopify to complete it.
However my concerns are how much I have read where so many sites were shutdown, accounts deactivated because of chargebacks, High Risk products, etc. One thing about Magento you own the site and don’t have to be concerned about this. I would be concerned for some crazy reason I would face this issue and lose the site and have to go back to Magento or somewhere else and start all over from scratch. The products we sell are Professional Audio/Sound, Lighting and Video equipment. I do see some of my competitors on Shopify, more than likely using Shopify Plus where they can get better support and protection for these issues where I am nowhere near using Plus.
I understand Shopify has been known to deactivate your account with no explanation and your cooked because they will not work with you to resolve the issue or let you know what the issue is.
I think I understand one of the risk is using SHOP Payment with alot of chargebacks. Using my own processor with Shopify is the extra percent you have to pay cutting into profits.
I don’t want to be in a situation where I lose this site and try to find my way back to Magento because it won’t be cheap and too much of a headache to where I would be out of a website and business.

For the past 2 years we have not been able to listen to CH. 105 Hallmark Radio or any other programs on our 2018 Ford Expedition and 2018 Ford Focus because they said the radios were not compatible, only newer model vehicles with updated radios. However I just noticed this morning on both vehicles we can listen to Ch. 105 Dolly Parton Radio.
Does this mean they have changed or programmed something to be able to listen to 105 going forward including Hallmark Radio during the Hoildays?
I recently realized my 2.4.7 site has been running in Developer mode. Last week when we went to switch it back to Production Mode it kept giving several Permission errors. Took several days to get it figured out with my host company to make some changes on the server. Was they got that fixed we were able to get back into Production Mode. After running the show mode command it does show Production Mode, however I am noticing in my Backend under Stores> Configuration> Advanced> Developer section is still showing. I was under the impression when in Production Mode this section is usually hidden. Any ideas why this is still showing. I just want to make sure this site is in the correct Mode
Currently testing Shopify for my small buisness while looking to move from Magento. One of my issues is shipping rates. I understand on the lowest two plans you cannot use your own carrier accounts with my negotiated rates. My question is with the Shopify shipping rates displayed, do I have to ship using Shopify shipping labels, etc. or can I still ship using my own shipping accounts, UPS, Fedex, USPS? We use our own UPS account with very aggressive rates that are cheaper than Shopify Rates. By using my own shipping are there any drwabacks from Shopify by doing so?
I have been dealing with an issue regarding my "Contact Us" form of getting so many spams till I had to disable the Contact Us Page. Back in July 2025 I got hit with several hundred emails from Contact Us Form within a span of 30 minutes. I disabled it and actually forgot about it till April 2026 when I enabled and within a day or two it happened again and till this date I still have it disabled because I have not been able to get a fix for it.
Everyone of these email were from "testing@example.com. I have reCAPTCHA set for the Contact Us Page and still got hit with these emails. Is there a way to do something about this to block them.
Forsome reason they are bypassing reCAPTCHA.
I am not sure if the ones from each attack was from the same atacker or not. But it was like they were waiting for me to enable it again.

Last August 2025 had the CDF Drum replaced with no known issues till now (August 2026)
Last Friday driving on the interstate with cruse set at 75 mph and after 1 hour of driving started to feel a jolted/hasitating as if it were down shifting or losing power/speed, then suddenly I was able to accelerate then it happened two or three more times. At first I thought it was my cruse control adjusting speed behind another vehicle till I realized something was really wrong.
Exited off and stopped. Noticed the temp was 237 degrees and smelled buring oil. Noticed covered the whole back of my vehicle and full of oil underneath. Was told it was safe to drive back after letting it cool down. Drove back 1 hour straight to the dealer. Temp on the drive back ranged from 205-208 on the intersate till Idrove into town and got to 212. Dealer looked underneath and confirmed it was transmission oil and it was really bad. Left it there over the weekend and Monday got a call back that they did not find anything wrong with it, internal parts all looked good and no damages from overheating, no codes and still had the right amout of oil in it. They tested everything and never got it to overheat. I don't understand how I lost so much oil and still has the right amount. The only thing the service adviser mentioned somethng about a Vort and venting the oil. Not sure exactly what she meant unless I misunderstood her.
I drove it around town today with speeds around 45-50 mph and when I got home the temp was around 217. I am not sure what the average temp is town/highway.
Here is where I am, I need to take an out of town 3 hour trip tomorrow and concerned if I should be taking this chance and getting stranded. I have a tow package on my insurance, but only to the nearest dealer and don't want it stuck out of town.

I am trying to figure a way to help control it. I am afraid not acepting Credit Cards could be hurting my sales. Not sure if Stripe would benifit me in this area or not.

Nothing I am doing is helping with so many fraud orders.

Adding new products to my site along with new images. I noticed the images are not showing on my Product pages and only showing the default "magento logo" as the images. In the backend I see the following message has been showing there for the past few days with no change. Any one else have this issue. I have uploaded to images for this product and neither one of them is showing

I have been selling on Reverb for several years and have always dealt with an issue with an order that I receive late Friday evenings through Saturdays and according to Reverb in order to qualify for the Quick Shipper Badge you need to ship within 24 hours INCLUDING Weekends.
I recently had two orders that came in on a Friday evening and had to come in on the Saturday to ship the item so that it was shipped within 24 hours without jeportizing my status. We do offer Free 2-Day shipping on some of our items and just so happened to be both those orders were 2-Day shipping and had to bring them to the local Fedex express office to ship. Thankfully they were open on a Saturday. Sundays would be an issue becuase no one is open. I was told by Reverb with orders of 2-Day shipping they have to be shipped even if its on a weekend because weekends count for 2-Day shipments.
I sell on Amazon (not Prime), Ebay and Walmart and their requirments are the next Buisness day and don't include weekends.
So my question is how are any other sellers handling this? I seriously doublt most sellers do not ship on weekends.
