Driving lessons?

Howdy bitches. Do you guys know of any lower cost driving lessons? I don't have $50 for individual classes, and I definitely don't have hundreds of dollars for a package. Do you know of any nonprofits, church groups, or any programs at all where lessons are a little more affordable? Preferably in Brooklyn or Queens

**class D license options only please

People who feel entitled to our attraction...

Black men who say "you're pretty for a dark skinned girl" with big grins on their faces like I'm supposed to be happy to hear that. Hispanic men who walk up to me with their noses in the* air like I'm gonna throw myself at them. And that dude on tiktok who visited the US and decided to refer to the black women here as "American ebony"??? Have some shame, jfc.

And women do this too, not as boldly as the men but they act like they're entitled to a big warm welcome just because they showed up?? Leave me alone 🤡 I'm tired of being "walking skin" to people. Black women are not your home base.

How did you decide what you were once the pure types were removed?

I still ID as a pure natural when I'm styling myself and looking up inspo. I genuinely don't know what else I could be. I'm 5'3 with vertical, but I don't have the irl stature for FN. I don't think I'm soft enough to be SN either, but by process of elimination... 🤷🏿‍♀️ Just by styling tests alone, I still prefer pure natural

Suburban girlies: Please hear me out 😭

Your life wouldn't have magically improved if you didn't grow up in the suburbs. It really isnt that different. "Oh the white boys were mean so the non-white boys followed their lead!!" I regret to inform you: that would've happened anyway. Especially if you're dark skinned or your parents are immigrants. It was going to happen anyway. There would be less white people, yes. The non white people will still be nasty to you, if they want to be.

You either learn to assimilate to social expectations, or you suffer. I say this as someone who grew up in a shitty area. I used to be soooo jealous of people who lived in the suburbs. Please, PLEASE don't be blind to reality.

Does anyone else relate?

I get slightly resentful seeing talk about the expectation for a femme to be a domme. Without turning this into a sob story, I already "domme". All the time. I'm always put in that position. I've been fending for myself longer than I should've been. I constantly attract submissive people who think I'm willing to domme them, or that I'm intimidating and bold. I'm not contesting that, but it’s not like I've lived a life where I could be a cozy princess 🤷🏿‍♀️

I'm tired of attracting people who want me to baby them 🙂 I'm just tired in general lmao. What I really, really want is someone who can match me. At this point I try not to engage with a lot of sapphic content because it just annoys me. Especially as a not-terminally-online person. No one's patting me on the back irl for being a femme that gets shit done in her own femme way like they would online.

Your favorite orchards?

Howdy bitches, I'm looking for a place where I can go berry picking this summer. I wanted to go to Lyman Orchards but that's gonna be a PITA to get to. Looking for berries, possibly stone fruit, a bakery section, and things I can take pictures with (sunflowers, fields, tractors, etc).

Please only suggest places I can get to via public transpo 😌💖 TIA

Free horticulture programs? Or public garden cert

Hey guys 💖 I hope at least one of you has seen the botanical garden horticulture cert course! I'm looking for something like that, but preferably like a volunteer program. I did one of their horticulture volunteer events and was pretty disappointed. I want a class that will actually teach me about plant maintenance, without asking me to pay hundreds of dollars 🙃 Any recs for internships/volunteer work? I've tried calling some garden centers and plant nurseries but no one's accepting newbies right now

East coast to West coast: Dating scene differences?

Howdy guys. I'm considering moving from NYC to the Bay Area. If any of you have done this before, can you tell me what it's like? I already don't really fit the NYC vibe. I'm hoping Cali is a better fit. I'm definitely more "earthy black girl", I like going on hikes and whatnot. If we're going out for drinks, it better be coffee/tea. I just want less noise and more green 🫩 and people who align with that mentality lol

Gold or silver?

For a long time I felt like gold didn't really suit me. Was I imagining it or am I right?

Been at this since March 26. Had to battle some mealybugs along the way, but I don't see them anymore. Are we good to go or should I be worried about the crispy leaf?
