LHR to SYD via AUH- window or aisle

Genuinely not sure what I should do for the 2 legs. I usually go Aisle but then no window to lean on (or people to walk past me etc)

I know it's an age old debate and I'm not sure why I'm undecided - but it's a long-ass journey and I'm trying to make it as pleasant as possible.

Travel Weekender - perfect tech cubes that fit!

Been playing around with different pouches and stuff I have for my camera gear - thought you'd like to see what I discovered.
Company called CRDBag make interesting stuff for the cinema/photo market including various pouches etc, but I just got some of their 'bricks' and they seem to be a good match for the weekender.
You could get easily 6 (3 per side) of the full brick possibly 8 if you lay them horizontal. The mega brick is a tiny bit too deep but would work as long as you didn't mind the central divider being pushed inward.

Guess the Brick is about the same size as small packing cube - but these CRDbags can all be labelled, there's also hook and loop so you can use other tags - and s clear window to slip in some paper with what's inside on.
They are great for my cine kit -so I'm hoping someone finds this useful. I may well get a couple more too for my bags.

Not a rep/affiliate, just sharing the love.

Lifetime warranty is outstanding

Almost 2 years old. Mobile case fabric started to peel.
Filled in warranty claim. New case in 24 hours. Absolutely brilliant.

And - even more brilliant was that I actually forgot to register it when it was new but I had the receipt and the serial number so registered it, then got a new case.

Top top work. And no. I don’t work for PD or paid to say this- although to be fair I do own most of their bags.

Bring back the little QR registration cards!

Finally got my weekender in sage from a UK retailer (park cameras if anyone needs to snag one) and it’s a beauty.

I spent ages looking for the little serial number card to register the bag. Seems like the eco friendly way is now so stitch the qr code into the bag itself.

Fine. Im all for saving the planet but at least make the tag easier to scan. I practically had to push the bag inside out where the label is to get it to scan/ take a photo/ see / the serial number.

Bring back the little cardboard printout I say.

pocket 4 / 4p grip and handle size

Hey all.
Am I to assume that the only difference between the models is the gimbal head? Like will 3rd party accessories designed for the handle (grips/cages etc) world fine with the 4p? They LOOK the same from images online but you never know 😄

Spacebar woes stumped me

I just posted but was removed but it was removed for the wrong reasons. So I need to explain but without the trigger words!

When I press the spacebar there seems to be a delay. Sometimes works sometimes doesn’t. MacOS latest version.
Seems to take two or three presses to get it to register.
Or I have to click around and then press the spacebar.

Doesn’t seem too bad when use the speed editor to stop /start.

Is this a common thing?

Hope this posts gets past the auto moderator!

Any news on the weekender supply?

Is there any news about the weekender coming back into stock? Or coming into stock for the first time.
Do you kickstarters have yours?

Air Porter Vs PD Weekender

I’m weighing up the new Peak Design Weekender but on looking for similar / alternatives for air travel I stumbled on the Waterfield Air Porter. Clearly not as roomy but wondering if any one of you baggage addicts has one and can add their thoughts.

Weekender Vs Everyday Messenger

Obviously they're difference sizes in terms of capacity but can someone who has both show them next to each other- I usually travel with the messenger and the roller. I've never been asked to check the messenger at the gate, and we all know that the physical size comes secondary to how it 'looks' when you're in the eyes of the staff member with those 'cabin bag' tags...

Battery home option

Just noticed this appear in the meta app. Firmware updated today to 25 but being in the UK got no new features other than this apparently dead menu?

Anyone have this shell cover thing g?

Stumbled on this. Looks like it would be a good solution for tossing the Avata360 into a bag etc and offering some moderate protection?

I just found this on AliExpress: | Protective Case For DJI Avata360 Shockproof Hard Case Protective Box Scratch-Resistant For DJI Avata360 Drone Accessories

backpack / rigid backpack for A360 plus perhaps Neo2

Does anyone have anything that holds the Avata360 fly more goggles combo/RC2 and perhaps the Neo 2 in a small pocket. The bag it comes with is great but no room for anything other than the full combo and it's a shoulder bag.
Looking for backpack or even a hard case that's a backpack to take all the kit with me and not have to take 2 separate bags.

Wonder if a camera cube would work from peak design - trouble is the 360 would need to go flat taking up a bunch of room so I'm looking on Aliexpress for something more elegant etc and useful for a day trip.
