Anime that has a character with a raspy voice? (JP)

Do you know of any series where a character has a raspy voice as their normal voice? (Japanese VA preferred, but will accept EN if the dub is exceptionally good)

Some examples I can think of are:

Hiro from Inuyashiki (JP)

Maomao from Apothecary Diaries (JP)

Neia from Overlord movie 3 (JP)

Haru from Beastars (EN)

Naomi and Kenji from Bungo Stray Dogs (JP)

I love raspy voices, I think they're so cute and a unique change to when characters usually have either crisp, clear voices or soft, airy voices.

Genuine mental illness

Imagine if there was a group that acted this way about anything else. Such as:

"Im an inpoor. Involuntarily poor. It's not my fault I'm poor, I was born poor. Do I have a job? No, why would I need one? Jobs just give the richist CEOs more money. Every time I go outside and see richist people it reinforces the fact that I'm subhuman just for being an inpoor. It's all richist's fault. They deserve to have all their assets stolen from them so they'd finally know how it feels to be an inpoor."

(disclaimer: this example isn't making fun of poor people, it's making fun of inventing a bunch of new words to victimize yourself even further and blaming everyone else for your problems)

You're moving and have to pick 1 of these people as a roommate. Who do you pick and why?

From top to bottom, left to right:

Power (Chainsaw Man), Satou Tatsuhiro (Welcome to the NHK), Yanineko (Chainsmoker Cat), Kuroki Tomoko (Watamote,) Umaru (Himouto Umaru-chan), Madao (Gintama), Lucifer (The Devil is a Part Timer), Gabriel White Tenma (Gabriel Dropout), Kon (Bleach)

Incels talking to each other be like:

The irony is this episode teaches that it's stupid to assume ugliness is the reason people are treating you differently.

I can already foresee the DMs: "but I KNOW for a fact it's because I'm ugly! People do treat me badly for it! How dare you discount my lived experience!"

Nope. You're being a Patrick Star. Stop being Patrick. And stop being Spongebob too while you're at it, he blindly believed Patrick's lies instead of actually figuring out it was his own bad breath that was the problem and easily fixable.

Am I saying pretty privilege doesn't exist? No it definitely does, but not nearly to the extent incels think.

EDIT: Lol they've now resorted to abusing the Reddit cares feature on me

EDIT 2: Received my first DM! And it said exactly what I had predicted almost verbatim.

Younger women look better than you and have less Bodies, this is why men pick them over you

It has nothing to do with "Wanting to manipulate any inexperienced girls" or "Having no choice" but to go for the better looking, younger women, it has to do with the fact that:

A) They look better than you. While there are some exceptions, generally speaking the chicks with no Wrinkles and no aging signs on their faces and bodies look better than the ones that do.

B) They have less experience, less trauma, less bodies, and less promiscuous behavior due to being younger. Generally speaking, there are chicks who begin being promiscuous at very young ages, but she would still have less bodies than an older chick who's been doing the same behaviors for longer

C) They've been through less abortions or none at all

D) Arguably the most important one for me, they produce healthier babies. The closer a woman is to Menopause age the higher chance their child comes out with something seriously wrong with them. You're risking dooming for future bloodline by trying to reproduce with an older woman past her prime, especially when whatever type of chick you like, there's a younger, healthier version of her somewhere in the world that you can find.

I've noticed on the internet, especially Reddit, women have begin lying and acting like men prefer younger women for other reasons other than the 4 obvious points above that they always try to ignore. Well it's time to give some pushback. Whenever you see one of these chicks imply younger chicks are "Easier" to get (They aren't, younger chicks know they are in their Prime and take full advantage of it) and that's why men go for them Politely remind them that it has nothing to do with that, but it has everything to do with the 4 points mentioned above. Older chicks hate acknowledging this because it requires acknowledging that they cannot reverse the clock unless they are ageless which 99.999% of women are not, and if they are still single at older ages they have to acknowledge everyday that they can no longer compete with younger versions of themselves. They don't like doing this out loud, especially on the internet. So lets help them with it.

What are these crows doing?

Was at a park today and noticed these three crows sitting completely still with their beaks open and one had its wings slightly extended. They stayed like this for a few minutes before changing positions and then starting again. What is going on here? It was a very hot day so maybe that has something to do with it?

Stop calling everything “rape”

There is a world of difference between a total stranger pinning you down in the street, and giving in to your partner just to shut them up.

The second scenario is obviously not ok, but to call it rape is to trivialize the experience of all the people who have experienced the first scenario.

I don’t know how many times i’ve seen posts on Reddit, with young unexperienced girls telling stories like:

- My partner pulled off the condom without me knowing
- He kept begging and I finally said yes
- I gave consent but I was really drunk
- He put it in my ass without consent but I also didn’t really mind

The comments under these posts are always:

- He raped you, I’m so sorry this happened to you
- Your boyfriend is a rapist
- Honey, you are a rape victim

Let me first clarify that these experiences can obviously be horrible and terrifying, sometimes the guy really is a horrible person and someone you should get away from. But other times it’s much more complicated and confusing. Hence the asking for advice on Reddit.

It’s always the same story in the comments though. People confidently, without a second thought and with very little context, tell these poor girls that they are now rape victims, that their boyfriend is a rapist and that they should break up immediately.

It’s wildly irresponsible and insensitive. You don’t want to tell a young inexperienced person that the bad thing they experienced is “terrible and traumatic”, if it was indeed just “bad”. And potentially just a misunderstanding with their partner.

You also risk causing an unnecessary breakup. It’s possible to forgive your partner if they did something sexual without your consent. But of course you can’t stay with someone that raped you.

Part of the problem is that people feel that calling it “rape” (instead of e.g. sexual assault or non-consensual sex) is somehow more compassionate, in that it validates them and takes their experience seriously. The other part of the problem is that we don’t have great terminology for the full range of sexual misconduct.

And for those 2 reasons, “rape” has had a bad case of “concept creep” where basically any unwanted sexual attention is now called “rape”.

And that’s fine… but then we need a new word for the thing we used to call rape. That thing, that’s the first thing 99% of us think about when we hear the word “rape”.

Because otherwise in the future, when someone comes up to you saying they were raped, you will have very little sense of how serious the situation actually is. And if you are raped yourself, you will have to clarify to everyone that it wasn’t the “mild kind of rape” but “rape rape”.
