Hello, I just moved apartments, my previous apartment was set up for ethernet ports so I never had any issue, but the new apartment is missing the ethernet caps to plug into the modem that will service the wall outlets throughout the apartment.

Gfiber is telling me their techs do not do this and will not do it and its up to building maintenance, but building maintenance is saying they dont do this.

Google said I will need to pay out of pocket for someone to come set it up and that just seems ridiculous because ATT has done this in the past without any hesitation. Why is google different? Anyone have this same experience? Am I better off not fighting with fiber and just doing it myself? I am considering switching back to ATT because this just seems crazy.

I need help with trying to translate and understanding this better. I read little german, but the cursive is catching me up bad.

It is my great grandfather & great-great grandmother im trying to do more research on, as I just found out that my great-great grandfather isnt listed and is not in records anywhere.

Hello, I just recently decided to try to find a summer hobby since moving here from Fort Worth. Decided to buy a paddleboard and was curious if there is any good smaller ish lakes to get familiar with it before making my way into lady bird lake. I’m not new to water sports but very new to stand up paddleboard!

I was thinking Georgetown lake, but wasn’t sure if anyone has any other recommendations or desirable locations to familiarize myself with this! Thanks a ton for any ideas!

Hello, I am going to be traveling to Germany hopefully often to explore and just experience the German culture. What is a good place/site/subreddit for finding a fellow German interested in showing a tourist some places? I work in aviation so my places to my into are open, however, I don’t like tourist trap tours and such.

Open to any suggestions or subreddits (I tried researching but the only thing that came up was a bunch of titles of why westerners hated living in Germany) looking for positive people and experiences! TIA!

Hello, I purchased a used performance package P2 last year, and somehow just cracked the rim on a pothole I’m guessing.

Recommendations for new rims that are affordable would be awesome. I keep reading that it’s really difficult to find rims that fit due to the brakes and offset. Although I won’t lie, completely new to electric vehicles and this is the first time I’ve ever had rim issues, so I’m always so ignorant about them.
