Letters from my great-grandmother to my mother (transcription only) / Briefe meiner Urgroßmutter an meine Mutter (nur Transkription)

I came across letters my great-grandmother Maria in Deggendorf, Bavaria wrote to my mother in the mid-1980s, shortly before her passing. I'd love to get a transcription of them.

Images 1-2: Letter 1

Images 3-4: Letter 2

Image 5: Letter 3

Thank you in advance! Very much appreciate your help uncovering this part of my family history.

Anyone good at reading German Handwriting?

Doing research for a StAg 5 declaration and found some old letters and correspondence. Is anyone particularly good at reading German handwriting from the early 1900's? I can make out some of it, but the script is a tough. Don't know if it's relevant to the declaration, but some context and family history might be interesting. Thank you in advance.

Old German deciphering help needed - Hessian soldier

Guten Tag !

* Please let me know if I should send this to a different sub *

I am pretty sure that the document is not written in Kurrent but I am hoping some of you could help.

I would like to know what is the comment written in the rightmost column of number 7, Tambour Johannes Schröder.

It looks like: 2 Feb 1775 but the rest is difficult to read, perhaps a German city ?

I am joining a closeup pic of the original document.

It is an excerpt from my great-grandfather's "Soldbuch" from around the time of the First World War.

Looking for private tutor for Kurrent

Guten Tag zusammen! I'm already fluent in German (certified C2) and because I'm a huge geek and am into genealogy, I'd like to learn to read and write Kurrent. There are a couple of workbooks which I've found helpful, however I learn best when I learn with another person.

Online tutoring is fine, especially if I can see how the tutor's hand moves and the tutor can use enough of the technology to point things out to me. What I don't want is a video class. I need to speak with someone. It could be in German or in English.

If you have any recommendations or can help me contact someone, please do so! Thanks! Danke!

Need help deciphering the parents

I just recently came across this group and hope that somebody can help me.

This is a death certificate that I would need help deciphering. As much as I would like a full transcription, I am particularly interested in the name of the deceased's parents as I unfortunately don't read Kurrent
