Do you know what movie this is?

When I was little I remember watching this movie in my parents room. I only remember a few things. I think the movie cover had green and brown on it. I think the movie had something to do with nature. And I remember the movie had the word "giants" or "giant" in the title. I'm not sure exactly when it came out but it was before 2017. If anyone knows what movie I'm talking about, please tell me, it's driving me crazy. Thanks

What song(s) to show my dad?

So, I introduced my dad to Twenty One Pilots the day we went to see "More Than We Ever Imagined" in theaters, but he didn't like them. It's getting irritating because every time I show him a song now he says something like "at least it's better than those Twenty One Pilots guys" The songs I showed him on that day were Downstairs, House of Gold, Holding On To You, Navigating, Ode to Sleep, Stressed Out, Jumpsuit, Drum Show, and Polarize. Ode to Sleep was the only one he didn't dislike and the main thing he said about it was "The beat is cool, I guess." So, I'm wondering what TØP songs you'd recommend I show him that he might actually enjoy? Or at least make him hate the band less. Thanks :)

Give Me Song Recs

I like pretty much any genre besides country, I hate country. And do not send me AI music, it will be an automatic 🟥 if it's AI. So yeah, you name a song and who it's by and I'll rate it :)

Masking my ADHD and being called a liar because of it + a rant.

They removed this post in the ADHD subreddit, so I'm posting it here.

I'm 15 years old and I got diagnosed with ADHD 2-3 months ago. My mom keeps calling me a liar, saying I don't have adhd because "the symptoms only started showing up around September" apparently. In September I started going to therapy for my Anxiety and around January, my therapist referred me to get tested for ADHD. My mom said that was ridiculous and I didn't have any symptoms until recently. When I talked to my therapist about that she said it was most likely because I've been masking my ADHD. I think that makes a lot of sense because I remember getting in trouble a lot when I was younger for being too loud or for being disruptive or because I would keep getting up and walking around in situations where I wasn't supposed to. So, I've always forced myself to just sit still and to internalized everything. But in therapy I started unmasking my ADHD and that's when people actually noticed that I might have it and I got diagnosed. But my mom insists that I'm just lazy and that I'm a liar, but when I'm trying to explain all of that to her, she yells at me or dismisses what I'm saying. My sister also keeps calling me a liar and telling her friends that I'm "faking my adhd". I'm finally learning to not suppress everything in my mind and I'm just getting called a liar and being made fun of for it. Whenever I'm fidgeting or bouncing my leg, my mom yells at me to stop and says I'm doing it just to mess with her. I don't know what to do. I feel like everything I'm dealing with is being downplayed or ignored.

Another reason my mom says I'm just being lazy and that it's not ADHD is because of my grades. I used to be really good at school. I would get straight A's. But I also loved school and I was always interested in it. But last year (8th grade) I started hating school, everything got boring and I had so much trouble focusing, but I still got C's and above, but this year (9th grade) I've been getting F's, D's, and maybe C's. I've been trying so hard, but I can't focus on anything, I'm homeschooled as well and it's so hard to keep my own schedule and to do my work myself. And I'm just getting called lazy constantly. I'm going back to public school next year. My mom keeps yelling at me saying "you don't just become bad at school overnight". I don't know what to do about that either. But during finals week last week I got all of my grades up to over an F besides English. But now I have to do 9th grade English in summer school this summer because I finished my English final and it would've raised my grade to a B and I though I turned it in, but I forgot to hit submit and by the time I realized that, it was too late to turn it in, so my grade stayed an F. Now I gotta tell my parents that I failed a class and that I'll have to do a summer course for it. They're gonna say I'm just lazy and that I'm lying about finishing it, but forgetting to turn it in. Then, they're gonna probably ground me for the summer as well. But now that I'm not masking my ADHD as much, I'm just being called a liar and it's horrible. This was kind of just a rant. Sorry if it was incoherent. I feel like I strayed from the direction I was originally going in, but whatever.

TL;DR - My mom is saying I'm lying and faking adhd because I've spent most of my life masking it. Also, she says one of the reasons is because of how I'm doing in school now versus how I was doing in school most years before this.

Try to guess my age and gender if you want.

Also, I need some recommendations. I like pop punk, rock, punk, pop rock, Gothic rock, metal, shock rock, pop (sometimes), and just alternative music in general.
