Which 1960s decade car models did you own?

Similar to the thread in the 70s sub, let's talk about cars, trucks, motorcycles, etc!

My vehicles from the 1960s decade:

- 1967 Suzuki 80 cc motorbike, purchased new with my own money from the sale of my 4-H steer, I was 14 and rode this bike everywhere.

- 1963 Ford F-100 uni-body pick-up, 292 V-8 and 3 on the tree, my dad's pick-up but the vehicle that I learned to drive first.

- 1968 Ford F-100 Ranger, 360 V8, auto trans., a big step up from the 1963, it even had a radio, I did lots of cruising with this truck, to my parent's chagrin.

- 1963 Buick LeSabre, 4 door hardtop, 405 V-8 engine, gifted to me by my parents when I graduated high school in 1971.

I named this car the "Queen Mary" as she was a boat!

- 1965 Chevelle Malibu 4 door, 6 cylinder, 3 on the tree, the first car that I bought with my own money.

What 1970s model cars did you own?

For my wife and I, we had the following 1970s vehicles:

- 1970 Chev pickup truck

- 1973 Olds Cutlass

- 1975 Chev Caprice

- 1978 Mercury Zephyr

I do not have fond memories of any of these vehicles, other than the Cutlass had lots of pep, and the Caprice was great for towing our travel trailer. Fun times!

How's life in Zaporizhia these days?

In 2013, we visited this area, including Zaporizhia, Dnipro, Tokmak, Melitopol.

What is the war situation? I believe that Melitopol and Tokmak are now controlled by the Russian army? Is there active fighting? What about drone attacks on the city?

When we were there in 2013, most people were speaking Russian, but I understand that has changed?

Thanks for any updates.

▲ 77 r/wine

My wife and I tend to drink wine every evening with dinner, at home, just the 2 of us. We probably average about 6 to 7 ounces each per day. We are 73M and 71F. We find it enhances our daily living experience and makes dinner more enjoyable. We have no major health issues, just the usual stuff for seniors.

I've been reading recent health and nutrition articles that strongly discourage daily consumption of alcohol, especially for seniors. (Same for caffeine which we also really enjoy!)

Simply interested in thoughts from members of this group ....
