Question about Legal Aid family matters- I qualified, had a phone interview on June 15. The lawyer said she was going to contact the other party/lawyer. I have not heard anything from her since. Is this normal? While I don’t expect anything to happen immediately, shouldn’t I have received a copy of what she sent the other party?
I sent an email and have not heard back.
Also, what has others experiences been with legal aid for family matters?

I live in a 2 bed/2 bath condo. For two years my power bill was around $85. In April it jumped all the way to $138, and was $92 in may. I haven’t changed my lifestyle or started running space heaters or anything out of the ordinary. Sask power wasn’t able to give me an answer on why there was such an increase. I am not on equalized payments. Does anyone have any ideas what could be causing the difference?
I need some help here. My husband and I divorced three years ago, but our families still see each other often because we have small kids in sports. My ex and I have a great parenting relationship, his mom and I get along, and his siblings respectfully tell me hello. My family respects and is friendly with my ex. However, to this day, my ex father in law refuses to even look at me. It makes things uncomfortable for everyone involved. I understand he hates me, and is bitter, etc but is it too much to ask for him to at least be cordial? Treat me with respect? I want to spite him so bad. The sight of him makes my blood boil. I think if it weren’t for him, my ex and I would probably still be together, or at the very least back together.
I was literally the worst wife ever. I drank, lied, and caused drama with my husband and his whole family due to addiction. He had me leave the house and served me an official divorce petition in 2022. Four years later, I am in recovery working hard to redeem myself and I have grown into a very supportive, reliable, and loving mother. My heart aches to rejoin my family. My ex and I are getting along well and I want to bring up reunification, but I am very fearful of rejection. He is doing well in life and they have settled into this new normal. Who is the library targeting with their Circulation Associate positions? I meet (and exceed) the required qualifications, I have tailored my resume and cover letter to fit the position really well, and I apply well before the deadline. What the hell happened? I know it switched owners, but it went downhill very fast and now their website is gone and Mcdougall Auctioneers has a complete dispersal auction happening on their website. Sad.
I am looking for some guidance regarding organ donation while I am living. I already donate blood as much as I can, but I would like to step up and possibly donate stem cells or a kidney. The problem is, I am already 34 and the Organ and Tissue donation program through Canadian Blood Services seem to have no interest in me and I believe this is because of my age. I am O negative blood type so I thought I would be in high demand. If anybody has any advice I would be grateful.
