How do you deal with eve teasing/street harassment, and what strategies have actually worked for you?

I’m looking to hear from women here about their experiences with eve teasing and street harassment. Unfortunately, it’s a reality many face in daily life—whether on public transport, walking in neighborhoods, or at workplaces/colleges.
I’d really appreciate your insights on a few things:

1. Immediate Response: How do you handle it in the moment—call it out, confront them, or ignore it for safety?
2. Safety Hacks: What practical tools, habits, or safety measures have actually worked for you?
3. Handling Escalation: How do you decide when to involve bystanders/authorities versus de-escalating to stay safe?

How are only children handling adult lives especially women ?

25F, an only child, and I find adulthood difficult sometimes. It's not that I want someone to control my life, but I miss having someone to lean on during tough times. Any advice on how to cope with this?
I’m single and have a few friends. How do I feel content with myself so I don't look for support even in the lowest phases?
PS: I've been through the worst phases all alone, so I'm a little resilient. I can do things alone, but sometimes I'm just tired of handling it all by myself :)

What film had a plot twist so good it genuinely shocked you in the theater?

For me, it was Arrival (2016).

I went in expecting a standard sci-fi alien contact movie, but the way Denis Villeneuve handled the structure blew my mind. What I assumed were standard, tragic backstory flashbacks turned out to be future memories due to how the aliens perceive time—changing the entire emotional weight of the film in a single scene.
When the credits rolled, half the theater was just sitting in silence processing what they had just watched.

What movie completely recontextualized everything you thought was happening right at the end?

24F feeling stuck at every area , kinda depressing , how do I get through ?

Hello this is 24 F
An under grad doctor , I have my post grad exam in a few months
I’ve been home for a while after my internship and the home environment just sucks tbh
I can’t study like I would
There’s chaos
I couldn’t join the gym
I can’t eat food like I want
I can’t basically do things I want to
There’s always an obligation that I should study all the time and I find it very frustrating because I genuinely want to do everything
And rn I just can’t do anything let alone even studying
I don’t earn at this point
And I feel my life is so stagnant for a while now
Rn I’m in my hometown
Not so big of a place and my parents are very strict ( can I say controlling a bit too much )
I asked them if I can go to another city ( atleast where I did my college and maybe live there )
But they don’t understand ( also this home place had fights almost everyday and I can never study in such environment plus it’s almost always like - why study late at night / wake up in the morning / blah blah )
How do I do it ?

Hi this is 24 f an undergrad 2020 batch
I have my exam in a few months
Broke up during my final proffs and I will be honest I am happy I got through my exams with all the things that were happening
But after my exams things just started feeling so heavy
Even though it’s been a year
I get so affected on a random day and I will be honest o have less friends and all I do rn is feel the urge to go on a trip
Beacuse I’m so tired
I want freedom
Growth decision making and the idea of him is weird
I just see him enjoying
He is an engineer btw
Had the time to work on himself
Where I got diagnosed with pcos
And it’s been bad ever since
My cortisol levels have come to its normal after several months
My physical health deteriorated among all the internship chaos and now it’s neet pg
Honestly it feels as if I just need a break from family from everything
Although I do know I need to keep hustling
Should I go out maybe for a few days
It feels so weird that I even have to type this here and ask for opinions because my brain ain’t braining please
