The Great Bathroom Debate You're Too Shy to Discuss
Standing up and wearing clothes out of season. Like father like daughter.
My sleep gummies make me calm. And when I'm calm, I am brutal.
I investigated Trump's historically low approval rating.

My Debate with Isaac Sherrod is Now Posted
And I thought I was smarmy. Yeesh.
My debate with Isaac Sherrod was a great example of how disingenuous the right's "debate" culture has become.
Isaac started off by declaring himself pro-life, but later said that me discussing the concept of what "pro-life" means was off-limits for the debate. He admitted that he thinks abortion is murder, but then wouldn't engage in what that really means because after all, his opening argument was that it's child abuse so he demanded I stick to that argument.
He lobbed hypothetical after hypothetical at me while avoiding real world concepts like percentage of medical risk, said that definitions of all words are subjective, and that anything is possible as long as it's logically sound - without giving any regard to if something is scientifically possible.
At one point, I made a reference to Jordan Peterson's "debate" style and Isaac said that he's not a reflection of his employer. I don't know if it was a bad joke or him admitting he works for Peterson - but if he does, that would make so much sense.
And after all that, Isaac confidently declared himself the winner. So he thinks all words are subjective, but his performance couldn't possibly be.
Ticket holders who want to watch the replay have been sent the link, and those who missed it but want to watch have two choices:
- Wait til it is posted free in its entirety on September 15th
- Purchase a ticket between now and then and watch the replay immediately so you can yell at the screen even sooner. Tickets are on my website - check the calendar for September 15th.
As always, the debate will raise money for the Steel City Arts Foundation (and this one also raises money for Isaac's chosen charity, St. Jude's)
Thanks for reading, for watching, and for not being as smarmy as Isaac.
