The one thing that really needs an explanation

How is it that Ted didn't end up as the coach of the KC MLS team? Or at least a USL team in the area? Or get another football coaching job?

The man was a highly successful NCAA football coach, then won the Championship league and got his premier league team to the champions league. And he somehow ends up bagging groceries?

I know it's just to drive home how unsatisfying his work life was to make the move back seem credible but it feels a little strained.

Early October Europe to SFO redemptions

Trying to find an early October redemption from Europe to SFO for business class. Any lay flat product will do as long as the points are reasonable.

Last year in peak summer I was able to get 50k business class each way to Europe via Swiss Air on life miles, even connecting all the way to a small airport in Croatia.

This year I've been checking everything (life miles, aircanada, British airways, united, kris flyer, airfrance) for a midweek redemption in October and I'm coming up with absolutely nothing under 200K points. I'm flexible on dates and departure destination, and still can't find a solid deal. Am I checking too early or too late, is award availability way down? Or does anyone have any thoughts on how to go about searching for this? The difficulty in booking seems way disproportionate to the timing.

Edit** rule 5

London to SFO for 200K Polaris, points too steep

KLM Frankfurt to SFO for 350K points ?! again too expensive

Watching all this soccer makes me wish we had the all-22 view as our standard view

Being able to watch the whole field unfold just really changes how much you are able to appreciate the game. Half the time you can't even tell what play they're running until the replay. You just see quarterback and then suddenly there's a guy open or not.

Battery bleed while parked?

I’ve had a model Y for about a year and a half now.

last summer I left my car parked outside on the street for a month and lost about a mile of charge a day.

Just got back from a 2 week trip where my car was parked in a garage in temperate weather with sentry mode off and didn’t check the app once. battery drained 100 miles of range. any thoughts on other settings or issues that could be causing this?
