I'm very confused. Trying proxy editing for the first time on a low-spec but portable device (Surface Go - Linux).

Shotcut version is 26.9.27

If I drop a clip directly into the timeline it displays fine can be cut, adjusted etc.

If I take the same clip and set in/out in the source window first, it drops into the timeline as black with no audio.

I've tried various combinations of ticking / unticking hardware acceleration (h264_vaapi on my intel iGPU) but nothing helps.

Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong?

Possible stupid question:

TLDR; how do I add my A1 to Orca 2.4 without upsetting the bambu logins I use elsewhere?

I run Bambu slicer on one PC, and the Bambu integration on Home Assistant (to automate lighting, printer shutdown etc)

I also run Orca 2.?3? on another PC for slicing miniatures with the DnD2.0 profile.

To try to consolidate my slicing I've just setup Orcaslicer 2.4 on a proxmox LXC for remote slicing.

I went to add my A1 to Orca 2.4 and I can only login via Orca Cloud.

How do I connect my A1 to Orca 2.4 without logging out of everything else?

I'm trying to stand up linuxcontainer.io's Orcaslicer docker instance. Docker is installed via the script for a docker lxc.

When I run the basic docker run for the orcaslicer container command I get an error:

docker: failed to extract layer (application/vnd.oci.image.layer.v1.tar+gzip \[...\] to overlayfs as "extract ...":   
  
mount callback failed on /var/lib/containerd/tmpmounts/containerd \[...\]   
  
no space left on device  

I'm guessing this is a proxmox, not docker, issue so I'm asking here first.

Looking at my PVE instance:

1. There is tons of space on all my PVE storage;
2. Docker itself has some 3GB free on its (stock) 4GB allocation.

Anyone know what's going on here?

I'd like to get my SGO 1 to boot from USB so I can use clonezilla and gparted to do some (linux) partition resizing.

- Safe boot is off (red line present and correct)

- USB set as top in boot order (though the 'vol down on boot' trick doesn't work

I choose UEFI USB in the recovery reboot menu, but it boots straight back into Windows

Am I missing something simple?

I installed Jellyfin via the helper script which creates an Ubuntu 24.04 LXC in proxmox.

I'm trying to mount my video folder (an OMV share on the same network) onto the Jellyfin LXC, but I get mount errors (see below).

On my Ubuntu 24.04 PC the mount works fine, and my /etc/fstab says:

>//MY.OMV.IP/video /mnt/video cifs guest,uid=1000,gid=1000,iocharset=utf8,_netdev 0 0

If I put this in /etc/fstab on my Jellyfin LXC I get mount error(1): Operation not permitted

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong here?

I've been using gptel-agent, specifically because I want local LLM instances to be able to query the web (without additional setup).

I'd love to hear how you are achieving this. My results are not promising:

Likely to be a problem-in-chair but so far I've tried 3 models:

1. Deepseekr1 runs out of tokens (400 error token limit) when run from gptel-agent;

2. Gemma4:e2b cannot use websearch and just prompts repeatedly for a query (this seems to be a gemma issue)

3. tomng/nanbeige4.1:3b can use the web search, but treats the response as a new chat. E.g. it thinks it is at the beginning of a process, and has forgotten the initial question.

I'd love to see how you guys are working this.

Gemini can't access my g-suite (calendar etc). If I try to ask Gemini to do so, I get a prompt to enable things on my phone,

I do the enabling - but the watch still can't integrate with the google suite, giving me the same "change things on your phone" thing again

Is this a GW4 or WearOS thing, or a more general issue?

I run HAOS on proxmox and recently updated Core and HAOS itself. Since then Frigate-FA won't start.

I've tried two browsers to login to dropbox via War organ on ios

The authentication hangs after username and password are submitted.

All the credentials are fine becasue I just used them to set up war organ dropbox sync on android
