I rescued this dog from ebay for thirty bucks. I knew it was a hot mess; but 2 exoglass spats came with it - so it I suppose it was an elbow grease special 🙃

I accepted the gunk in the pan; and some BKF took care of that fairly quickly; but the crud on the bottom was a true scrubfest, who knows what they were doing with it 🤷‍♂️ it’s slightly warped too

accidentally took it past blue due to the pan being thinner than the big Matfer - I didn’t pull it off the heat in time; but so what… looks don’t matter for cooking!

I also took the opportunity to ease the edges of the handle with a sander, highly recommended! happy cooking!😀

I’d like to cut some dados in the sides of this drawer box along the red lines - to slide in some angled dividers and lessen this hot mess of sheet pans.

I can make an angled fence, use my router with a collet… but the dado would stop short 4” to 5” when the baseplate bottoms out.

Would you just trim the dividers, or continue the dado? I guess I could scribe and chisel, maybe clean it up with a file edge? Or perhaps buy something like a dogleg chisel?

PS> I thought about screw-in shelf pins as another option, just seems less elegant🤷‍♂️

We don’t have any hanging plants; but have many other plants - what would you suggest to stand out against this minimal backdrop?

These windows are south facing. Routine care is fine (we have orchids that bloom if that’s a benchmark); but nothing temperamental please 😉🙏
