Affordable and Reliable Blood Test Lab Recommendations
Can anyone suggest an affordable and reliable blood test clinic which doesn’t charge you an arm and a leg.
Last Klinik Segara in Klang Valley charged me RM 350+ for a normal blood/urine test.

Have been making these in batches and I love the taste. I prefer to eat it with mustard.
Here is the recipe
Ingredients (Makes 6–8 patties, Serves 2–4)
• 2 cans (150g each) Tuna Light Chunks in Olive Oil (or water-packed; drain well — ~300g total drained)
• 2 large egg (helps bind)
• ⅓–½ cup almond flour (start with ⅓ cup; add more if mixture is too wet)
• 2–3 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese or nutritional yeast (optional, for umami)
• 2–3 tbsp finely chopped green onions or red onion
• 1–2 tbsp fresh cilantro or parsley, chopped (for freshness)
• 1 tbsp lemon juice or lime juice
• 1 tsp garlic powder
• ½ tsp paprika or chilli flakes (for mild heat, adjustable)
• ½ tsp salt & black pepper to taste
• Olive oil or avocado oil for frying (2–3 tbsp)
Optional add-ins for extra flavor (keep keto):
1 tsp grated ginger,
a bit of finely chopped celery for crunch, or
cumin for a subtle twist.
Per 80grams patty (approx.): ~150–200 kcal, 12–15g protein, 10–12g fat, 1–2g net carbs (depends on exact almond flour amount).
Instructions
Serving Suggestions (Keto)
• Dipping sauce: Mix full-fat Greek yogurt or keto mayo with lemon, garlic, and a pinch of chilli or herbs.
• Sides: Lettuce wraps, cauliflower rice, avocado slices, or a simple salad with olive oil.
• Meal prep: Make ahead and refrigerate (up to 3 days) or freeze uncooked patties.
Why it works: Almond flour keeps it low-carb and replaces breadcrumbs. The olive oil-packed tuna adds natural richness.
Best place to buy good quality, (not super expensive) frozen shrimp and cod fillet in KL? The regular grocery store chains are mighty expensive. Recommend a local seller who I can buy for decent price.
I am in between cars. Sold the old one and now booked a new one and for that period I need to rent a car for my daily use.
Has anyone used a long term car rental and if yes, what was your experience and what are the options and which is the best option to rent from and why?
Thanks

So I drove a Jetour T2 and it’s mighty impressive for the price and the feel on the road. I also heard they are launching T1 in a few months and it is a compact version of T2. T1 is slightly smaller but same engine and all the T2 bells and whistles. It will be slightly cheaper too than the T2.
If given a choice which among the two will be a good model to buy?
I’ve been a long-time SUV guy and have mostly driven Japanese and German SUVs in the past. However, the Jetour T2 now looks very appealing at its price point in this segment. My main concerns are after-sales service and whether it’s worth considering for daily city driving in KL.
Would appreciate insights from the sifus in this sub 🙏
I am traveling in Japan and I am a Muslim so can’t eat pork or its byproducts or non halal meat. What store bought Protien snacks can I eat if someone wants to recommend? Thanks
I used to run quite a bit a decade ago and even completed a few marathon majors, but health issues forced me to stop. Now I’m feeling better and want to get back into running. It’s been a long time since my last marathon.
I’m visiting Osaka in 2 days and I’m looking for recommendations on marathon training shoes. I’m 50yrs old, 90 kg and 177 cm tall. I’ve previously used New Balance, Newton, and On. What would be the best option that can support my weight without destroying my wallet?
Some nights, I wake up at 2 a.m. to use the toilet, only to spend the next two hours tossing and turning. I eventually wear myself out by doomscrolling on my phone before finally falling into a deep sleep around 4:30 a.m. For context, I work out in the morning and have my last coffee at 2 p.m. I go to bed at 9:30 p.m. and wake up at 6 a.m. on good days. I also take 800 mg of Magnesium Glycinate before bed.
