Finally got a functioning 1541!

Going through a stack of floppies I've had a couple years but could never access...opening them is so fun.

Strangers' personal type-in's and finance records mostly.

It's like looking through steangers' photo albums.

You see glimpses of a life mist likely already passed.

Fascinating and a little bittersweet.

...I've already ordered more lots on ebay.

Hello new 'tism.

New security monitor monitor gor C64U.

Lost a CRT set and had to move the CRT I was using to the game room for the 7800/Colecovision/NES...

But got a contemporary security monitor for the 64U.

4:3 and everything. I looked on a whim, had no idea they still made em.

I love my clunky old ship.

The Rested Dream is odd, awkward, and cozy. I love it.

I wish you could sell your ship before going through and buying it again from a vendor when you are reborn.

I just awoke from a dream where they were making CRTs in 2026.

I was xmas shopping in a mall and found a wall of proper CRTs, newly manufactured.

They were 3k a piece. 😅

I hate to say it, but Starfield might be my favorite Bethesda game now.

Yeah...the amount of work Bethesda put into this game boggles the mind. I hear complaints of procedurally generated planet surfaces, but simulation with an accurately functioning solar system, does it even matter?

The fact that even some of the more fantastical points of human innovation are based in theories already put forth is another gold star.

Bethesda mastered fantasy, but fantasy is easy because anything goes.

Starfield is genuine science-fiction. And i love it way more than I was expectingto..

Sony is a blip.

And as long as there is people making homebrews, they're irrelevant too.

(A blip I clearly still have residual affection for)

Anyone else familiar with this little curiosity?

So my brother and I both loved the Beatles because of our mother, but ultimately difference people. I went full on pinko liberal and he went redneck.

This album was something that he had in his collection that I would play very seldom. I didn't love it.

But he's gone now, and it hits a little different. Mostly 90s country artists. _A few_ are actually really good.

Anyone else try and put the trading card set together? How close did ya get, and which autographs did you pull?

I genuinely forgot how much fun it is getting a new magazine in the mail every month.

I hadn't had a magazine subscription in twenty years or more. I had Star Wars Insider around the time of Episode II, but that was the last physical subscription I had.

Makes going to the mailbox fun once a month.

😄

Fun with bootlegs.

Actually this game is trash. ATARI 400/800 unreleased game.

Stick with Superman for 2600. It's a gem.

In Starfield there's an "artifact" displayed in a collection of rarities that looks an awful lot like a Macintosh.

...it should have been the PET.
