75” QM7L Pro vs 65” S90F OLED

Just bought a 75” TCL QM7L Pro for $1,300, including a 5-year warranty, but now I’m second guessing it.

The 65” Samsung S90F OLED just dropped to $1,000 brand new, but I’d be buying it without an extended warranty.

Viewing distance is about 8–11 ft depending on where you’re sitting on the sectional.

Main use:

Sports — especially NFL

Movies/streaming

Xbox gaming

Room has windows, but no direct sunlight hits the TV (have blackout blinds too)

I was excited about going 75”, but saving $300 AND getting an OLED for $1,000 seems like a pretty crazy deal.

Would you keep the 75” QM7L Pro for $1,300 + 5-year warranty, or cancel it and get the 65” S90F for $1,000?

Is the jump to OLED worth giving up 10” at this viewing distance?

65” TCL QM7K ($800) vs 65” Samsung S90F OLED ($1,300) vs 75” TCL QM7L Pro ($1,300)?

65” TCL QM7K — $800

65” Samsung S90F OLED — $1,300

75” TCL QM7L Pro — $1,300

Mainly NFL/sports, plus Xbox and movies. Living room can be bright but no direct sunlight on the TV. Viewing distance is 10–11 ft.

Could also wait for Labor Day sales — just want something before football season. Which would you get?

65” TCL QM7K for $800 vs 75” QM7L Pro for $1,300 — mainly NFL + Xbox

I’ve gone way too deep researching TVs and narrowed it down to these two.

Main use is NFL/college football and Xbox, plus some movies. Coming from a 60” 2014 LG 1080p TV.

My biggest concern is sports. I see a lot of people trash the QM7K’s motion/ghosting, but reviews still rate it well for sports. Will I actually notice these issues watching football?

The QM7L Pro has the upgraded processor, but is it noticeably better for sports/motion?

Save $500 and get the 65” QM7K, or spend $1,300 for the 75” QM7L Pro?

Panasonic Z8BA OLED vs TCL QM7L Pro?

Trying to make a final decision:

- 77” Panasonic Z8BA OLED — $1,399 (no extended warranty)
- 75” TCL QM7L Pro — $1,300 at Costco with 5-year warranty

Main use will be NFL Sundays, occasional gaming (especially GTA 6 when it comes out), and movies at night with my gf.

I’m coming from a 2014 LG 60” 1080p TV in the living room and a cheap 42” Vizio in the bedroom, so either one is obviously going to be a massive upgrade.

Current room is pretty dark, but I’ll likely move into a new apartment next year and don’t know how bright that living room will be.

I’m leaning Panasonic for OLED picture quality and motion/image processing, but I’m worried about brightness and burn-in. The TCL seems safer with much higher brightness, no burn-in risk, and the Costco warranty. The QM7L Pro also has the upgraded processor, but it’s newer and I haven’t seen many reviews specifically on the Pro.

At basically the same price, which would you pick for my use? Is the Panasonic worth giving up the TCL’s brightness and 5-year warranty?

75” TCL QM7K vs QM7L Pro — wait for a price drop?

I’ve been looking at the TCL QM7K and originally wanted to stay under $1,000. Right now Best Buy has the 75” QM7K for $1,300, while Costco has the 75” QM7L Pro for the same $1,300.

I really wish the 75” QM7K would drop closer to $1,000 because that would make my decision easy.

Is there a decent chance the 75” QM7K drops in price soon, or at $1,300 should I just get the QM7L Pro from Costco?

Mostly watching sports (NFL especially) and gaming, with some movies at night

TCL QM7K vs QM7L — which would you buy for sports + gaming?

TV will mostly be used for watching sports (NFL, MLB, golf, soccer) and Xbox gaming (Madden, FIFA, GTA 6), with some movies at night.

Current options:

65” TCL QM7K — $800

75” TCL QM7K — $1,300

75” TCL QM7L — $1,300

At the same $1,300 price, is the QM7L noticeably better than the QM7K? And is it worth spending the extra $500 to go 75” over the 65” QM7K?

Coming from an older 2014 LG 1080p TV, so any of these should be a huge upgrade.

Or if there is another tv in stock that better for sports let me know. I wanted my budget to be under $1000 originally bc $800 qm7k sounds like a good deal but interested in 75”.

Help me pull the trigger on a TV… sports is my biggest concern

Looking for a new 65”-75” TV and I’m completely overthinking it.

My budget is ideally under $1,000, but I can wait for a sale if it’s worth it.

Main uses:

NFL (most important)

MLB

Golf

Soccer

Nighttime movies

Xbox Series S (Madden, FIFA, GTA 6)

The TV will be in an apartment that’s fairly bright during the day, but there’s no direct sunlight hitting the screen.

Right now I’m leaning toward the TCL QM7K because it seems like an insane value, but every time I search Reddit I see people saying TCL’s motion processing is terrible for sports.

If you had around $1,000 or less, what would you buy today? Should I grab the QM7K, hold out for a Sony X90L sale, or am I overlooking another TV entirely?

Also to add I’m coming from a 2014 LG 1080p tv.. I currently game on a 144hz monitor but the hdr sucks.

Please help me finally pull the trigger lol.

65” TCL QM7K vs 65” Hisense U7SG?

I’ve narrowed my search down to two TVs:

65” TCL QM7K – $800

65” Hisense U7SG – $1,000

This will be the main TV in my first apartment so I want to make the right choice without overthinking it.

My usage is roughly:

60–70% NFL/MLB and other sports

20–30% Xbox (Madden, 2K, GTA 6 when it releases)

10–20% movies with my girlfriend

I’m coming from a 2014 LG 60” 1080p TV, so I know either one will be a huge upgrade.

For those who have seen or owned both, is the U7SG actually worth the extra $200 in real-world use?

As a casual viewer, will I genuinely notice a difference in sports broadcasts and gaming, or would I be better off buying the QM7K and putting the $200 toward a sound system.

Best 65” TV Under $1,200 for Sports & Movies?

Looking for a 65" TV under $1,200 and I've completely overcomplicated this.

Primary use will be movies, NFL/college football, MLB, soccer, and some casual Xbox gaming.

I've looked into the TCL QM7K/QM8K/QM9K, Hisense U8QG, Samsung QN90F, Sony Bravia 7, and probably a few others at this point.

For those who actually own one of these, what would you buy today and why? Especially curious about motion handling and sports performance.

Pimlico Pointe vs Grandstone for a couple in our mid-20s?

My girlfriend (24) and I (24) are about to sign a 15–18 month lease and we’ve narrowed it down to Pimlico Pointe and The Grandstone.

A little about us:

We like going out to bars, breweries, restaurants, Bengals/Reds games, etc.

I golf, bowl, pickleball.

We’d ideally live in Oakley or closer to downtown Cincinnati, but my girlfriend will be attending cosmetology school at the VOA area for a little over a year, so we’re staying up here for now.

I work mostly remote and only go into my office in Springboro 2–3 times a month.

Right now I’m leaning toward Pimlico because it seems like a nice middle ground:

~10 minutes to Liberty Center

~10 minutes to Deerfield Towne Center

Close to places like Marion’s, Diggs, Warped Wing, Mason Bowl, etc.

I’ve also read a lot of comments saying the Deerfield area has a lot of young professionals our age.

My only hesitation with Grandstone/Deerfield is that, looking on Maps, it seems like a lot of chain restaurants and shopping centers. I’m wondering if that area starts to feel repetitive after a while.

For people who actually live around Mason/Deerfield/West Chester:

Which area would you rather live in if you were 24?

Does Deerfield or Liberty Center end up being where you spend more of your free time?

Anything I’m overlooking about either location? Any other recommendations?

Edit* - we are moving from Dayton area.

Early extension? My weight stays in my toes more than lead heel.

Is it my backswing? Hand depth? I can’t get that feeling of transferring weight to lead heel.

Fanatics Font Size Inconsistent

Picked up a new white Burrow Nike Game jersey and I'm curious if anyone else has noticed quality/sizing changes over the last few years.

For reference:
- Black Burrow Nike Game jersey (Medium) from when these uniforms first released.
- Orange Chase Nike Game jersey (Medium, not pictured).
- White Tee Higgins Nike Game jersey (Medium, not pictured).
- New white Burrow Nike Game jersey (Small).

What's weird is the new Small white Burrow is basically the same size as my older Medium black Burrow. Meanwhile my white Higgins Medium fits like a dress. Seems like Nike/Fanatics changed sizing somewhere along the way.

My biggest complaint is the BURROW nameplate. Compare it to the older black Burrow jersey. The lettering looks noticeably smaller and the spacing/font just looks off to me. Almost makes it look fake even though it came directly from Fanatics.

Also, for a $150 jersey, this thing is surprisingly see-through. I get that it's white, but the material feels noticeably cheaper than my older black jersey.

Am I crazy or has the quality control and sizing gotten way downhill on these newer Game jerseys?

Methylene blue & taking Vyvanse?

I accidentally took a 20mg methylene blue (2% solution) pill Friday night after taking my usual 30mg Vyvanse Friday morning. I didn’t realize there could be an interaction until after I had already taken it.

I called Poison Control and they told me to wait 14 days before restarting Vyvanse, which honestly surprised me. I skipped Vyvanse Saturday and Sunday and haven’t had any symptoms of serotonin syndrome or anything serious (no fever, tremor, high heart rate, confusion, etc.). Mostly just some grogginess/anxiety from worrying about it.

It’s now Monday and I feel fine.

For anyone familiar with this interaction: do you actually need to wait the full 14 days in a situation like this?

Stimulant & MB. How long is MB in system? When can I take Vyvanse again?

I took 30mg Vyvanse daily. On Friday I took my Vyvanse at 8:30am like normal, then around 11pm my friend gave me a 20mg 2% methylene blue pill and I took it without realizing there's a potential interaction.

I did not take Vyvanse Saturday. Felt fine.

It's now Sunday afternoon. I feel groggy/ tired/not myself (not sure if it’s MB Vyvanse related) and my pee is still blue. Am I likely okay to resume my Vyvanse Monday morning? I saw some stuff online saying wait 14 days which freaked me out. I weigh 145lbs.

Does it look healed? Week 1 vs 7

Doc said I’m cleared to golf but I’ll tell u what if I put any pressure on the head of the 5th mcp (not where break was) I am in a crazy amount of pain. Can’t tell if it’s related to fracture or from soft tissue sitting in a brace for 7 weeks.
