I remember when i said on S2 that Alicent's offering was DUMB and pointless, and S3 prove it. Alicent did not receive from Rhaenyra a guaraante that she was going to keep her word, so she was fooled.

Imagine giving up the city to Rhaenyra and agree with her that your sons must die for you to be "free" just to look like a clown by giving up the city and being a whole prisioner.

And now, Rhaenyra tells her "you have no place to demands" and Alicent is just there betraying her side again and again without an actual hope of being free. Rhaenyra has gone mad with the news of Aegon and Sunfyre, so i doubt she will let "Aegon's mom" go unless of course she sends her to kill Aegon as well.

Alicent clearly has lost any political knowledge because she is a whole dissapointment on S3

Daemon it's one of the most popular characters on this show and you dont see fans saying "Why you like Daemon?" "Have people forgot what Daemon did?" But someone says they like Aegon and they be like "have people forgot what Aegon did" "how can you like him?"

I mean both characters have done bad things but only one it's held into a different standard which turn the situation into a hypocrisy

Aegon was so easy to manipulate that if Alicent or Otto wanted they could have come and tell him "We understand you, we love you, we support you and this is what you should do" then Aegon would be on his knees following their instructions.

Alicent and Otto thinking that screaming and hitting a person, who lacks of love, was going to follow their orders was dumb.Even if they're not honest, making Aegon think that you believe in him would have change a lot of things.

You have Margaery Tyrell who knew how to manipulate Joffrey and Tommen in different ways and she succed.

Manipulating a person who craves for love isn't hard to do, Otto and Alicent didn't even try and the showrunners trying it to frame it as "Aegon doesn't listen" is dumb.

Take out Alicent's scenes this season and the plot remains the same. The writers refused to make Alicent a pivotal character in the greens side and with that they basically took any relevancy she could have, now we have to see her doing irrelevant things for the sake of giving her screentime.

There's peoole who still going againts Rhaenyra, Rhaenyra still facing difficulties despite having the city and bloodshed still happening.

What was the point of her trying to escape 3 times and failling each time? what was the point of having the same conversation with Rhaenyra over again? Why she tried to kill Aemond when we know he wasn't going to die by her hand? Why it doesn't bother Alicent that became a kinslayer when there's a whole taboo on it in Westeros?

This season just prove us that Alicent just cares about herself...because why would you let your own grandaughter with people she doesn't know?

At this point, they could throw Alicent at the cells on S4 and let the rest of characters do their thing and the plot would keep moving forward.

During those years, Lyonel was already hand. It's quiet obvious he knew Harwin was having an affair with Rhaenyra specially after Jace and Luke being born and he did nothing, only after the issue was SO OBVIOUS and because Harwin made a whole spectacle.

So why Lyonel didn't send Harwin away the moment Jace or Luke was born? Why he remained silence all those years allowing Harwin to have 3 children with Rhaenyra Do you think there was some self- interests there?

Gwayne, son of Otto Hightower who used to be HAND, really believed he could negotiate with Daemon. He just ended up handing Corlys, the greens' hostage, to Daemon.

Like, Gwayne knows, or suppose to know, how Daemon is, there's no way at this point they still wanting to negotiate something when they took Tumbleton.

Such a bad idea and for what? 😭 to humilliate him

Weird to me how fans reduce characters, who were vocally about not just wanting to be baby machines, to their wombs.

Sometimes it bothers me how little HOTD cares about the lore in ASOIAF because Alyn calling himself the future Lord of the Tides while he still a bastard it's quiet silly.

Yes, Corlys said he has wishes of making Alyn his heir BUT as long as Alyn remains a bastard he can't legally claim Driftmark. Alyn saying to Corlys' vassals that he's the heir will still being a bastard should realistically make those lords laugh.

But anyways... HOTD doesn't care about making this world be realistically coherent to it's lore.
