My 95 year old mother 1948

She lives alone and takes good care of herself. There is a caregiver 3 days a week to help with housekeeping and errands.

Got these at Goodwill and found the actual owner by researching names on the note

These eyeglasses come with a handwritten note.  Belong to Wm Iles who was 84 years old. The case says  Optical Protective Company Denver. Seven children survive Mr. Iles. They are: Mrs. F. W. DeLano, Mrs. W. B. Jenkins, Mrs. George H. Baird, Mrs. E. Vanderheuvel, Harry Iles, George W. Iles, and Albert Iles. From his obituary. The man who taught King Edward of England and Czar Nicholas of Russia how to play the English game of cricket, died in Denver at St. Anthony's hospital on Wednesday 20th June 1906 and will be buried in Evergreen cemetery, this city, tomorrow afternoon.

The note included in the glasses case mentions his daughter, Gertrude DeLano.

Little Annie has been rescued for over one week and is keeping me awake at 1:30 in the morning. Now she's cat napping.
