what’s a word you learned from Moira Rose?

Today I learned “dragoon”. She uses it in the episode where David pees the bed and is referring to her frans.

To dragoon someone means to force, coerce, or bully them into doing something.

My husbands second language is English and he likes to learn new vocabulary so I tell him some of the words.

"What you did was impulsive, capricious, and melodramatic, but it was also wrong."

Just rediscovered this Moira quote. Not only does it make me laugh, but the quote itself fits Moira’s personality so well.

nicest fast food presentation I’ve ever seen - $5.99 at A&W

Never seen them use the reusable items aside from the mugs once in a while and the fry baskets. Also felt like it was a bigger serving in this.

was the first time I’ve ever checked the returns rack

Don’t expect this to ever happen again and I’ve seen videos of people finding great pieces on the return racks, but always thought it was staged until today.

found a dots today!

I’ve been a collector, purger for well over a decade and this is my second dots bowl I have ever found.

Prices decent and was a nice surprise sitting on the shelf when I arrived!

thrifted this iconic Gyles & George sweater for $20!

Rarely do I ever find anything specific I am looking for that isn’t super common, but was lucky enough to find this for $20. Looks weird when I wear it due to my weight, but hopefully I’ll settle in soon!

“Racks by Ray”… yet another one of Rays businesses

I don’t recall it ever being mentioned and just noticed it in the background of his office. It’s in the episode where David leaves the voicemails for Patrick. It’s my countless rewatch and this is the first time I noticed it. Anyone ever see it in any other episodes?

Ciao!

one arm is larger than the other due to injury. How can I fix this?

I’ve been working out regularly again for just over a month. The injury happened about a year and a half ago. I can’t remember exactly what was damaged, but I did receive physio which didn’t seem to do much. Initially once the sling came off I wasn’t able to do simple things like push a soap dispenser, flush a toilet, lay down and raise my arm (it would completely fall). When I had fallen it was during a seizure and I initially just thought it was my funny bone that was hit really hard. The thought of being able to bench press was ridiculous at the time, but am now able to do so and everything else. The only issue I have it raising my arm straight up high and grab in or pushing that way, which I don’t do often, just at work.

It’s only been a month and a half, but it’s already noticeable to myself and other people. I haven’t been hyper focused on it right now and have tried different things suggested by Google, but they don’t seem to be helping. I can do all the exercises fine, do the same weight as my arm that wasn’t injured, but it just doesn’t seem to be building muscle in the same way.

Wondering what advice would be given. I’m just waiting on the comments “WELL I KNOW WHAT HAND YOU USE!!!” insinuating that I use my one arm for jerking off. I don’t need medical advice, but just ways to build the muscle.

found a set of 3 for $90 to complete my set!

Was in a thrift store two weeks ago in London with a friend and we saw them charging $89.99 for the largest bowl. I found the 441 about a month ago for $10 at the thrift.

$100 for a set of pink Gooseberry is pretty good these days ITW!

cheap cookie cutters are now $2.49-$3.49 at the local VV

Don’t know what’s going through these peoples heads some days, especially because they also have some with 10-15 bagged for like $5.

The “sidewalk closed. Use other sidewalk” desire path.

It was about two weeks to get to this point. Construction closed off one side of the streets sidewalk. In this gigantic field we all take the same path.

“Look at you… look at your pants”

How David looks down at his pants after he says it is too funny and how they go back and forth.

“First of all… you’re a little bitchy.”

“I happen to be a little bit older than you.”

“Obviously.”
